But the manga back then was in the middle of the book of circus arc. The S1 anime just followed until the agni vs sebastian cooking contest. Also back then, kuroshitsuji franchise was so big that fans wanted another season which would be nearly impossible to follow the orig story, with the manga being in the early stages of the whole plot. So they did improvise S2 for our/the fans' "satisfaction". 🤣

I think that 1:47 is the best form of a checkov's gun put to a seiyuu event for people who haven't seen/read AOT. Spoilers below. It's kinda like when you learn when in Paths exploring memories Grisha saying "I'll show you the secret basement once I get home." NOT REALIZING, that he was talking about 2 separate basements. First one being under his house, the second one below the Reiss chapel. To young Eren, he was saying he'll show him the former, and to Paths Eren the latter.
