Hello from Staffordshire. Your made of tough stuff up there! Fixing cars in the rain and freezing cold 🥶. Really enjoy the videos.... but most of all I like the lovely relationship you have with your kids. 👍 Seasons greetings & best wishes for the future 🥳

The K12 Micra was a great wee car that got our local doctor to work in the weeks following the infamous thundersnow that hit Scotland in November 2010. Even some 4x4s couldn't cope with the depth of the snow.

Awesome, to be honest I haven’t heard anything bad about a Nissan yet, we’ve had a few now and I like them.

The K12 looks really smart lads! I love little jobs like headlight polishing, they provide so much bang for your buck when improving the look of a car!

Might be wrong but think the K12 front passenger seat might lift to have a compartment underneath. Might be some paperwork in there.

My ex-father-in-law had a K10 for years - it eventually rotted away around him after about 15 years but ALWAYS started on the button. These - like the Note - are like you and James say are a great older 2nd hand reliable runabout as long as you look after them. Did you see James is finally fixing that leaky K12 roof? Stuck a battery booster on it and started first turn - they would probably survive a nuclear explosion lol
@HomeBuilt2 жыл бұрын
I loved the K10! Haven’t had a chance to watch James latest video but I will catch up on them during the week. Nissans seem to be very reliable, never been a massive fan but now I’ve flipped a few I like them more and more.

@@HomeBuilt The only one I ever heard had an issue was a guy I worked with in the 80's bought one new. On the motorway the oil pump failed and the engine was toast. Got recovered and Nissan loaned him another and 2 weeks later returned his with a new engine and an apology. Around the same time BL or whatever they were called at the time we telling my brother in law that the failed crankshaft on his 10k mile one litre Metro was fair wear and tear.... you can see why one manufacturer survived eh?

What does your immediate neighbour think of this? Don't get me wrong I've sold and repaired cars from home but I fenced area and done as much work as possible out of public view. Strictly speaking if your running it as a business all you can do is sell the cars from home address, even a valet is a contravention

@mrt90312 жыл бұрын
@@michaelbrown3623 no need for sarcasm. As I say I've repaired and traded used motor vehicles from a home address but was super wary of minimising distribution. The local council could close this guy in a second and that can be avoided by respecting boundary lines and doing as much as possible out of view. You need a second hand dealers registration to be legal in Scotland and their is no way a local authority would provide the licence when your welding etc at the top of a driveway in a residential area. Think of others not only yourself Apply for this licence
