The skill works like this. You have a cost for a hero and synergy which that hero belongs to. By using Angela's skill on that hero you'll transform it to another hero with the same cost and also with the same synergy, just like kagura and popol since they both cost 3 gold and have the same synergy Mystic bureau. What you need to take note of is which hero you use the skill on, example you have a kagura, you might think that she automatically turns into a popol but no, remember she is also a mage which if we look closely, mages have 3 heroes costing 3 gold, that is Estes Selena and kagura. So in that way you'll get a random transformation from using the skill on kagura. Kagura=popol,Selena,Estes. But there are also heroes that guarantee specific transformation, like Lou Yi=wanwan since there are no other 3 cost hero in cadia aside from wanwan and no 3 cost elementalists hero. Same goes for popol=kagura since no 3 cost mystic Bureau other than kagura and no 3 cost summoners. I hope this helps bro,

I tend to cut things in my video but I don't add anything. You can check the player names and such and the rounds, maybe that's just editing error on my side. I cut idle moments in the game maybe I cut while I'm still buying heroes. My bad

So I just reviewed the raw video, what happened was my starting gold was 35. Then I bought a Lou Yi making my gold 32. Then I refreshed the shop 2 times, making my gold 28 then I got 2 Lou YI's in the shop, bought them getting the Lou Yi you're referring to 2 stars, then I bought a ruby making my gold 19. I'll try uploading the whole clip of it as a short so you can check thanks for pointing this out
