Plus, it’s a much larger reed to slide your lip up to get that glissando sound. Also, overtones are multitudes easier to pull off on bari for some reason. That’s just me though.

I love these guys. Leo P is his usual amazing self. The trumpet player is totally out there and in your face. But the drummer is like some kind of subway dwelling genius madman.

I really admire Leo P. as a musician. He's an incredible showman, has this amazing sound and technique, but he's also a team player. It's so cool watching someone with that much flair and power behind their sound look to their bandmates with attention and respect.

That's sad, much like movies, comics, or art in general...once you strip away the excess, the core of a thing should be more pure...if it was true to begin with. One guy with a drum who is good could get me grooving and if he was a good drummer, should be enough to get me grooving. It's the Bullsh*t that needs all that producing, electronics, extras, and layers. A good groove done by a "good" musician should be more than enough to suffice.

I love the progression of leather jacket guy to the left. Like at the beginning he's clearly just very tired when they get on but like a minute in he starts perking up and by the end he's standing in the doorway filming their exit, it's just beautiful

@@phyllisbarnaby when I say uptight band kids I mean ones that never really progressed past the highschool marching band mindset and apply the same rules to everything with an instrument in it. Ones that would rather stick to the familiar rule book than try new things, when they were supposed to use that rulebook to come up with new ideas. These people are not a representation of that, and that’s why I like it.

I can never tell what's practiced, and what's improv with these guys. This coming from a loooong time musician. Trumpet/coronet, some percussion, some keyboard and piano, and some guitar. - Always high energy in you music and vids. I dunno how you guys do it, but it's always great energy.
