this is like liquid caffeine changed the direction of my day for the better. one of the great reasons New York City is coming back this is what it's all about.

What the hell… are those city folks so jaded and absorbed in their lives that they just pass up a world class performance as if it’s nothing!?! I would LOVE to see Too Many Zoos live.

Si esto no es música...¿la música, dónde está??? GENIOS, una maravilla de músicos en una esquina cualquiera, no les importa un escenario, la música SON ELLOS!!! Un abrazo para ellos. Sergio, de San Rafael, Mendoza, Argentina

I love how “city people” just walk by this like it’s nothing… I come from a really small rural town where this would be one of the most entertaining spectacles to have ever taken place here and a massive crowd would form..lol

Drummer is good, trumpet player is flat and has a crappy tone. The whole thing is repetitious and ultimately very annoying. Admire the Sax player’s breathing skills, but as someone who played trumpet AND alto sax, this gave Me a headache after a couple minutes. If I was there I would have tossed in a couple $20s to get them to quit.

Most people like easy music. This music is jazz / funk.....hits you in the face, challenges your brain with complex beats and sounds, speed and rhythms, and attacks your senses...you have to pay attention...but it won't let you lazily just tune it out in the background. That's why people just walk by. They can't handle it.

I somehow like this rendition of "music", I mean I somehow jam to it too. But I like the other stuff more. If that computes? It definitely takes some getting used to though. You don't just start it out liking jazz, I didn't (even as a bass-bone jazz guy). (like in gundam thunderbolt)

It occurs to me that maybe more amazingly popular musicians should have started out on the street watching 90% of the people they're playing to just walk past without even looking. Maybe we'd have a bit more humility in the entertainment world. heheh Just a thought, no hate to everyone who's worked hard and made a living entertaining others.
