Too Much Medicine in Low-and-Middle-Income Countries

Low- and middle-income countries struggle to provide health care to some, while others get too much medicine. In this video, we delve into the research led by Assistant Professor Loai Albarqouni, which addresses the stark disparities in healthcare provision in low- and middle-income countries. With a global team of over 50 researchers, Dr Albarqouni led 3 systematic scoping reviews, analysing the evidence from more than 650 scientific articles involving close to 15 million participants or healthcare services in LMICs.
