Good to see you all looking so relaxed and enjoying your holiday. The shops look pretty good with plenty to choose from you don't need to take much with you with those prices. I'm liking seeing all the lovely food available to have.

Kusadasi is a very nice coastal town, I went last year after not going for about 25 years, it's an ideal base if going to ephesis. As for the Turkish lira, you literally used to get millions of lira to the pound, it got so bad that they re structured the currency & started from scratch with a new lira years back. Is Dan wants to stop getting sun stroke he must ware a hat, sun stroke is when your brain overheats when the sun beats down on top of your head.

Re exchange rates. You also need to consider what you will be charged to turn back any remaining money into GB pounds at the end of the holiday. I often find it easier to use up any remaining local currency towards the end of the holiday - cloths, gifts, duty free at hotel or airport. Otherwise you will have another large transaction fee with nothing to show for it.

We went to Kos from Bodrum a few years ago. Worth the trip if you want to see ruins. And they got a Macdonalds there ;) And custom for us was just like 5 minutes. Remember the holliday crowds are not in yet :)

The best upgrade I made on a holiday once was priority airport transfer. Basically they dropped us off at our hotel first and collected us last on the return trip.

I did comment before you went away regarding you getting your lira before you came away. Never buy in the uk, always buy when you get to turkey. When we go to turkey we always take sterling. And to be honest they sometimes prefer English money from you. We do exchange the odd bit of money but majority we always use sterling. You get ripped off as well when you come home if you have any lira left they charge you again to exchange back to sterling. Trips are always cheaper by booking in the town local area. Will be cheaper then what your tour operator charges. The big markets indoors are called bazzars. You can often get some really good bargins as well, make sure you barter though. Safari trips are going around the islands, you wont see any animals at all. The one we use in hisaronu you do alsorts, water fights with water pistols against each jeeps, river rafting sat in tubes , buggy off road, mud baths, obstacle courses its a fantastic day out. Xx

I would definately be going for the Turkish Bath with Massage if I was there! The Aqua Fantasy seems up my street too. I love how there is so much choice! You really are showing some amazing looking food on this holiday, huge portions too. I never thought I'd live to see the day when Dan rubbed oil on JPs back live on video! What a sight to behold. That and the blue water almost makes me wish I could swim!

Dan, I know most of the garments are copies but I do know some are actually made there for instance a few of my Ralph Lauren shirts especially are made in Turkey & I buy from outlet stores. I won't buy F Perry as in the early 80's we could buy them in Croydon for £5 a throw😂

We went to turkey 30 years ago and we exchanged pounds to lira in the hotel.never take the exchange rate at tescos .

Like I mentioned to you both before. Slip, slop, slap. Sun hygiene is very important. Stay hydrated. Loving the vids. Try a game called SOLO, we were introduced to it when driving RVs from Brisbane to Cairns. We have the game in the Caravan. SOLO! Stay safe. Dave downunder

mazzy if you have gallblader pain dont eat spicy food fruit with seeds chcholate water with ice full fat milk before i had my operation to remove ihe gallblader i only was eating rice pudding toast and bananna hope you try this my pain was worse than having 3 babies all the best

Mr Dan, please put block out on that face, plus a sun hat, I don't want to treat you for Cancer, out of the 4, Mazzy looks the best tanned. Hope the blisters have de blistered. Recommend hot showers, For Dan. Factor 40. Lol. Plus the lilo keep to the paddle end Dan. I loved JP plus the eating of the fish. (you eat the best) JP. I did notice, when you visited the local town, every shop sold luggage.. What was there to bring home, sweet meats, bread, bags, not a lot😊😂, you need to go to a bigger Town,. I ❤ checking out the big supermarkets, seeing the latest, on what people buy, or the local markets. Like veg, fruit, spices, definitely fresh fish. Is the hotel filling up, holidays this side from Friday, probably venturing down to Devon, weather OK, sunny this side, but no doubt rain on the way. Would any of you, go hiking, Is there bikes at the hotel? I thought there would be plenty, of beautiful fabrics. Plus the hot air balloon ride, ❤ that ticks my boat. You could have fun with that. But you are all amazing, it's been so interesting guys. So a big THANKYOU😁☀️

Hi Great video We always take UK pounds on holiday to Turkey change it in Turkey Currently exchange rate 40.9 Lira to 1 pound Last time in Turkey many shops & restaurants did better deals on UK Stirling 😎👍

I have never taken any cash bar $100 worth initially for taxis and use my debit or credit card - it doesnt charge any fee's and if I am conned the bank insure against it. Pointless walking around with a wad of cash; as if you lose the cash its gone forever whereas a card you can get it back.

The old advice was always convert in Turkey as you need because their currency is very volatile. You will always lose out when you change back too unfortunately

Its too late now, but for your next holiday, you should get a post office currency card. They're secure and easily blocked plus they're not as affected by exchange rates.

Stayed in Kusadasi a few times, they used to have a massive market there, there are some nice old streets(ally ways) and the more modern side too, I've also done the Ephesus tore, very long hard walk but very enjoyable, the History of the place is fascinating, it used to be a harbour city

Hi dan mazzy we go turkey a lot we always take our money with us as english £ charge it when we get there as we want it so you not left with turkish lira when you're going home better exchange rate liz scott

That’s sounds terrible‘exchange rate’ rip off Britain grrrr! But sat here watching u I thought are you using the buy or sell rates? If it’s buy rates then you will lose lots….just double check which rate you comparing your remaining cash with… hopefully you have used the wrong rate then it won’t be a bitter pill to swallow….. oh and use p20 sun cream it’s amazing…use once in a morning and that’s it for the rest of the day….you get the best tan ever with no burn at all 👍😎❤️

You can rent a car for the day , it's a about 30 to 40 euros and the road from your hotel to Kuşadası is very straightforward. Glad to see your all having a good time. We have been to the same Chinese restaurant, the food was lovely 😍

Dan , put some factor 40 on ... Melanoma skin cancer is massively on the increase mate . Get your currency , on a CHASE bank debit card , no charges , no currency fluctuations AND you get cash back on every pound spent . Fred Perry , good copy , but the buttons give it away M8 . Stay safe both.
