I'm 67 now and i've had my Fujifilm X100VI for about 9 months and love walking around London with such a small piece of kit. I still feel fit enough to walk around all day and will continue to do that as long as i can, street photography is great exercise and great fun too, brilliant portraits mate.

I’m 72 and walk the street in Seattle. Walking isn’t too bad but man, bending down and getting up isn’t so easy. Whatever you tell yourself tends to be true. It is as easy to say that looks like fun. I’m going to do it. Or you can say I’m not going to do that. Or I can’t do that. Then plug in any excuse you want. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)

I'm "invisible" on the street at 73. Basically, nobody sees me but I see them. Moriyama, Cullin, Harvey, McCurry, Salgado are over 80 and still going strong. "If you can smell the street by looking at the photo, it's street photography". I think Gary you just doing that.

84 and still shooting. I just changed systems from Fuji to OM 5. Not a thing wrong with Fuji, loved it but have gone to lighter kit. I do look for benches when I am out and like you have no problem talking to people who I just met on the street. Raised in a retail store and sold furniture to people in my teens. Like your videos.

Hey man love your work, keen to understand your post production process, do you run a high pass filter on your portraits?
@LASHMAR
@LASHMAR 15 күн бұрын
@@Santaslittlehelper854 no mate. It’s a lot of layers gradient maps and and fine tuning with layers. Brushing back in the light (and this is key) that is already there. It’s amplifying what is there. I don’t dodge shadows and I don’t burn light. I starting a patron next year and I’ll share some post production weekly. Note it’s only portraits I edit in Photoshop. Apart from grain I edit everything in Lightroom.
