@@williamthacker3866 nope the actual reason for rage mode was Zarc though Yuto did open the way for Zarc more easily with his Heartland trauma which is why all the Dimension Dragon combinations are Supreme Kings (Haou's). Yuya getting Odd-Eyes Rebellion and Raging Dragon was during his rage moments and both of those are Supreme King monsters while Wing Dragon and Venom Dragon were obtained after he accepted the Zarc Counterparts as another part of himself (Though Zarc was out of his head at that point of time so here's a hole in that theory) The full translated names for the combination dragons are: Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon the Supreme King Black Dragon Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon the Supreme King Blazing Dragon Odd-Eyes Venom Dragon the Supreme King Violet Dragon Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon the Supreme King White Dragon

Raider’s Wing’s target protection is grandfathered in when it is used for rank up as long as it remains as an Xyz Material, so hell yeah for untargetable Raidraptors (and Phantom Knights/Xyz Dragon I guess).

Heel Eagle: Because of the Fuzzy Lanius problem a lot of RR players started using Caligo Claw Crow as an easy Wise Strix helper that doesn't lock you out of good cards like CDI. This card basically does the same and more since it's searchable and has a useful GY effect, which IMO justifies playing it Raider's Wing: You don't wanna draw it and it's the best in-archetype target to summon with Wise Strix, so the 1-of seems good here. Usually I first go Force Strix to search Singing Lanius and then use that and Wing for either Evilswarm Nightmare, when going first, or Time Thief Redoer since both are extremely strong DARK Rank 4 and they get target protection with Wing. The empty Force Strix can than be linked away with Wise Strix into Simorgh Strangle Lanius: You said everything RUM PK Force: Assuming Konami finally imports Airraid and Arsenal with this set this card has a lot of disruptive potential as it can be activated during the opponent's turn. A usual opener leaves you with 2-4 DARK mons in the GY. Opponent summons a problematic mon? Summon Airraid and destroy it. Opponent sets a bunch of backrow? Summon Satellite for the Feather Duster effect. Opponent nukes you field? Summon Arsenal to float into Ulti.

Heel eagle is a free body for wise strix, which saves one of the level 4s for xyz plays. Plus it can recover nest or claw from grave. So yeah, I'm playing it, not at 3, but definetely playing it. Strangle Lanius is the Fuzzy Lanius replacement we've always needed. Only downside is it locks you out of Sovereignty & Apex Avian/Barrier Statue. Definitely playing at least 2. Raiders Wing is Winder that doesnt search a counter trap, but at least its another raptor that does something in grave without being dead in hand, plus it makes evilswarm nightmare or dark requiem/arc rebellion untarget able. All-in-all, this is some really good support. Hopefully now we get Arsenal Falcon and Airraid imported

Was just checking cardmarket and it turns out that while it's only a rare Blaze hasn't been printed since Crossed Souls. Soul Shave Force hasn't been seen since Wing Raiders. Good cards that could be useful are hard to come by, despite all this lovely new supprt.

So with them doing cards that bridge two different anime archetypes here's what I'm expecting in the future: Red-Eyes & Harpies Magnet Warriors & Amazoness (Bastian DID play his own lineup of anime exclusive Magnet Warriors) Junk or Synchron & Goyos Resonators and Fortune Fairies Onomato & Railway (I know the latter is only a series of monsters but I still think the idea could lead to funny results. Especially if Konami makes Utopic Conductor) Perfomapal or Odd-Eyes & Melodious And finally Speedroids & Windwitches (The latter are already played in some decks using the former so why not?)

I def don’t agree on the ratios. Raiders wing is def a 3 of because if you open it plus any other r4nk extender, you have full combo for like 3+ interruptions, heel eagles an ok 2 of because it’s a free extender for link climbing, and being able to reuse things like nest or claw is really good, and strangle is more of a 1 of seeing as it’s really good for the end of combos, allowing you to make things like CDI and the simorgh link first, then use strangle to end your board on something like I:P, redoer, or even evilswarm nightmare. Strangle at the beginning of your combos, while still fairly ok, isn’t the greatest at the beginning of your combos. The counter trap is a nice one of seeing as it’s searchable, and same with the RUM. While the new xyz dragon is powerful and can end games SUPER easily, there are better things to make with the RUM, like ranking a force strix up into satellite falcon on your opponents turn to feather duster them on their turn, or even if it’s on your turn, just ranking up into satellite falcon in general, seeing as it’s eff can’t be responded too. Overall, support is very good, no qualms here. Still dies to nibiru, but that’s most decks these days, so I’m not gonna get too bent out of shape.

Heel eagle is still cool because he gets you to Wise Strix even easier. the others are just flat out good. amusing even that effects i see on time thieves are on raidraptors now. id borrow them if i had deckspace... dat rank up magic though. so, not only can you easily arc rebellion, but you can now drop raidraptor summon effects on the opponents turn if you have the grave packed. Satellite cannon or air raid on the opponents turn? YUP!

As a raidraptor player who has a lot od experience with the deck heel is trash, raider's wing is great, strangle is one card rank4, the 2 traps suck (yes even claw because your ONE mimicry search is getting an extender) and the rank up allows you to summon air raid during your opponent's turn! If claw was a spell and trap negate I would actually play it, so many archetypes got an omni negate and these two got dick. Too bad the new rank up can not be discarded for zexal, but all well. Lastly bardiche has incredible synergy with arsenal falcon and raider's wing! too bad it's gone :'(

As a Raidraptor player, I think Strangle might be the worst of the three. Why ? Because it lock you of using non-dark monsters, and that mean no cyber dragon infinity. (and no simorgh link/union carrier if you're playing the infinite negate mist valley in it.) It is the best of the bunch in a pure raidraptor or raidraptor-phantom knight deck, but between this card or cyber dragon infinity... and the two others are pretty good combo extender. (Also, you do are playing heel eagle, since it's a more consistent way to summon the link raidraptor, instead of rellying mostly on vanishing lanius.)

uhhhhh, I highly disagree about the RUM being more for Phantom knights. no other card allows you to rank up a Force strix directly into an Ultimate falcon or Satellite cannon falcon or Fortress or... literally anything. Yes Soul shave and Skip exist, but this card does something fundamentally very different, and is even quickly, so you can do cheesy stuff like use your force strix to Rank up into Satellite Cannon during your opponent's turn for that spell speed 4 harpie's feather duster. Frankly, I don't think Phantom knights have XYZ monsters with such a high difference in ranks like RR's do, which this card capitalizes off so much more.

You actually don't play Strangle Lanius unless your deck isn't playing the infinite negate combo. The combo is very easy for the deck to achieve since the monsters are all naturally Winged Beasts, so locking yourself out of it does more harm than good. If you're playing a variant without Apex Avian, Thunderbird, and Union Carrier, than by all means play it. Just make sure you summon Infinity before you use it.

I ditched fiend eagle and skull eagle when wise styx came out, that beautiful creature. Heel eagle/skull eagle would have been fine if fiend eagle wasnt such trash since we already have rise falcon and revolutionary falcon, the latter doing its job but BETTER and for FREE or if we got a rank 3 that hits backrow the level 3's would actual have a purpose. Getting to rank 3 isnt even that hard in RR as you just use pain lanius on skull eagle/ now heel eagle..but I rather use it on a level 4/5. Also raider wing as part of Aresenal falcon or revolutionary falcon. Bruh

Sounds kinda impossible to reach tho without hard drawbacks. This new joint PK/RR support doesn't make the decks viable together and the new Rank-Up Magic requires you to banish Dark monsters on GY for each Rank higher you go. Given PK (without Rank-Up) mostly reaches Rank 3 and to a less extent Rank 4 it would mean you have to banish 6 to 7 Dark monsters in GY for it (which if you have to spare for it means you probably had the game on your bag since before it started). So nah, you probs ain't run it and if you do it probs won't ever be summoned (unless the RR Rank-Up's do something for it, idk what they do)

Hard disagree, raiders wing is the best one bc strangle Lanius locks you into darks so no infinity or simorgh link which it really needs, new pk rank up is a must use bc Raptors are just a better rank 4 engine so they can play the dark rebellion stuff better than phantom knights so skip force is kind of obsolete and heel eagle can be used to make wise strix. Strangle is the worst one imo (still run at 3)

Strangle is most certainly NOT the best one. Raider is. Being locked into Darks for the turn means you can't summon Cyber Dragon Infinity, Simorgh Link, Utopic Zexal, and any other good ranks 4s like Tornado or Abyss. So no it's actually terrible.
