I mean, the 5Ds era of the game had the first wave of Psychics that required life payment for effects, and they got a decent life gainer for the extra deck; this is just following on a tradition to allow the new era of life payment effects to have a decent gainer in this game space (especially if used against combo decks or as part of a chain strategy).

Ehhhh its not bad, but there are better Synchro options for Punks. Not to mention getting your LP back is more of a negative because then Psychic End Punisher won't be immune to your opponents card effects anymore.

@@Did_No_Wrong Your priority with PUNK isn't to go into PEP anyway and this is for when you go first not when you go second, which is the best time to go into PEP. So the LP gain is fine plus it's really easy to burn yourself again anyway. Additionally there aren't many other crazy synchro options that PUNK going into. This does something really strong for going first and is a good thing to run in addition to PEP with.
