Those sesame balls are some of my FAVORITE snacks! The red bean paste inside (made from adzuki beans) is SO good! You could tell mama didn’t like the turnip cake though! 🤣

I’m American and I can tell you three meals a day isn’t necessary. I’m just unlearning this and with the amount of food in this one setting I think I could do just one meal and be fine and slim. Plus they probably walk and eat food that are very good for the body. At least from what I see, them eating kimchi is very good for digestion and gut. I was wondering the same thing. Im finally understanding how other cultures have better food and lifestyle practices. Your questions just got me to thinking about the differences.

@@Fairydust2803food at dimsum restaurants are mostly steamed which is healthy compared to frying. Lots of Korean and Chinese food are healthy compared to western foods.

@@Xyniss Thanks for sharing but in this series the family tries tons other cultures food so I think the person was wondering how he stays slim eating all the different foods including western foods. I don’t think it’s just about eating all healthy it’s about a balance, but the fact that they are Korean and eat there food plus the ones they are trying contributes to staying slim.

Looks yummy! I've only been to dim sum twice, and both times it was crazy busy, and I was stressed over all the grannies charging the carts to get what their family wanted. I just felt like I was in the Dim Sum Olympics! LOL

Loved this. Reminded me of when my sister (married to a Chinese man - we're Italian so that's almost unheard of - older generation) and I took our mom for authentic Chinese food instead of the Americanized version. She ate everything and then some!

I would give anything to have someone who would go with me to a great place like this to eat and teach me what is what. My husband absolutely would not even try this. He’s a steak and potatoes man. I love to learn new foods. Being raised in Texas especially the area we are in Korean, Chinese and Thai for example are hard to find. There are 2 types of Mexican food here. The original true Mexican food which is much more bland and Tex-Mex which is much spicier and my personal favorite. Thanks for sharing your videos!
