Glad to see you are up and about. Perhaps this is testament to your conditioning pre-fall. Being in good shape will always better your chances of surviving such a trauma.. Make the most of your time off. Stay active. Because it will be over before you know it.

Cheers lad, yeah your on the money there, the doctors actually did say that they were surprised that there was no ligament and muscle damage, Said it’s probably due to having quiet a strong back.

Cheer for letting us in on what happened, lets us learn something from it too. Recovery can be slow, patience is key even though it can be a pain in the bollox

How often do these things happen to tree surgeons???

Thanks for sharing John and Billy. Can I ask if you feel the device used was it a rope runner is more susceptible to accidental free fall engagement than perhaps a Zig zag with chicane or a rope wrench with hitch climber type setups? I feel with a zig zag if the chain gets hit unintentionally then it only tends to release a small bit as it's difficult for something to stay over the Small surface area... Many thanks 🙏

I watch your video now that's crazy to me. That the rope runner Collapsed with your saw lanyard over it. Man, that's brutal, buddy, thank God you're okay God bless? I watched your new video today you did great

Thanks mate. Yeah it’s something to watch out for if your climbing on a RRP . I certainly never thought that could happen to easily: but moral of the story is always to tied in twice before even reaching for the saw

@@sawbandits Yes, you're a 100% right? Buddy definitely always tied in twice before cutting. God bless, see you on the next one, my friend.

I see you're doing the cold water therapy as well....commented on it in another video of yours....as for the hyperbaric oxygen thing fair play BUT you should try Wim Hof breathing method for a free version you can do anytime. It really works my man :) 4 rounds with 40 breaths is bangin'! Give it a try :)
