This is the result of the selfishness of taking another person's life. You not only kill that person, but you kill certain aspects of their loved ones. This is heartbreaking. Regardless of how an individual makes you feel, taking their life shouldn't be the only option to solve things. Praying for her strength.

I don’t think a lot people understand how devastating it is to lose a child, I’ve been there, and although not being murdered. It is a pain that is one of the worst feelings imaginable. Depression, suicide, no sense of direction can ensue. To look at your child one day smiling happy full of life, then to see them lifeless, and to know they never coming back, is something I wish on no one. Hug your kids tight man, we living in dark times for sure.

My heart breaks for Tooka’s mother. I couldn’t even watch the whole interview. One of my children passed away six years ago, and that’s not something that you just get over. Just listening to her relive the phone call moment, sent chills through my body. You’re never prepared as a parent to get the call from detectives, regarding your child being deceased. We’re supposed to be buried by our children, not the other way around. So when your world is flipped upside down, it hits different. I couldn’t even imagine someone mocking my child’s death. People have songs about her son. It’s so bad you have people from all over the world saying their smoking on her child. How is she supposed to get through the grieving process, when people are making a mockery of her son’s death? This is so sickening. I don’t know if she’ll read the comments or not but I want to send my deepest condolences to you. From one broken-hearted mother to another. I pray that telling your story starts to give you some type of peace, and healing. It takes alot of courage and strength, to get on a big platform and talk about something so traumatizing, devastating, and heartbreaking. I am pretty sure you suffer from depression, PTSD, and anxiety, due to this tragedy. I pray people will stop tormenting you, by mentioning your son, in such a negative way. I cried the entire time watching this.. as a mother, you do the best you can with what you have and when your children leave the house you expect them to come home. Damn, I’m heartbroken hearing this story. This is a strong woman ! May god show mercy on her son and keep his arms around the family. I know it’s even harder due to her hearing her son’s name being talked about in these rap songs disrespectfully .

He was a baby 😔... I hate that she had to go through what she went through but I love that she is letting her sons story really be told! I'm praying for Chicago always, but I've got a extra pray out there because it's going to go up this weekend and I hate that s**t

I wrestled too. It feels so good to win, especially when it’s against a good opponent. I know he was on a high. Damn man.

I love & respect mama bears so much. When she said, “if he see you, everything will be okay” & “I’m not locking my doors til all my kids in here safe & secure”, my heart broke. I just wanna give her a hug 😢 She reminds me of my best friend’s mama. She was like a second mom to me. And just warm, sweet, overprotective and claimed me as her other daughter lol Unfortunately, she passed in April of 2019. It’s been 12 years since he passed. She deserves the right to grieve her child. To say it’s despicable how radio stations ignored her is an understatement. She should trademark Tooka so every time these rappers use his name in their songs, they gotta pay her. Then I’d go see a lawyer about filing a lawsuit or getting a cease & desist served to radio stations. Time to hit they pockets.
