To all people thinking the crowd seemed really dead and lifeless, it’s where they are recoding from. I was there 5-6 rows from front and the crowd was fucking loud and loving it. Got multiple short recordings on my shitty iPhone 8 that sound incredible

Maan same. I bought the ticket especially for Tool, I was high and deunk as fuck in front row, but I enjoyed every second of it. I had to battle with a drunk guy and some poser girls but it was worth it ❤

I was at the front on the left side of the stage (Maynard and Adam's side) and I agree with you, the best gig of my life. Hearing Descending live like that after only hearing the bootleg versions on KZbin. Didn't think I'd get feels like that. Hope to see them again one day!

I was there. Crowdsurfer landed on my Mrs during schism and I spent the second half of the gig holding her up cos her hip got twisted. Had waited 17 years for that gig. Still awesome though.

I was here and it took me 3 or 4 songs to wander around and find the musical sweet spot where the sound did them justice. When the bass intro for schism hit i knew i was in the right spot. 😎

It was literally the entire crowd including me! No matter where you stood everyone was singing. They hadn't performed in the UK for 13 years and it was like a religious experience to all of us.

How is did download festival go on with covid-19 was happening when download was canceled last year that doesn't make sence.or this festival was two years ago.and ya posted this download festival from 2018.not 2019. Now this year it is on in June. Damn I would love to be there to wetness download festival this June if my fiance stop playing around.and get her butt home to me.so me and her could get out passport and tickets to go in June.to be there for my first time ever that would be awesome as hell.

@@odysseus384 the way that I see it, TOOL nowadays isn’t really a mosh pit kinda band. The energy of the show is just different to like a Rage Against the Machine where moshing was a thing. I don’t really see a mosh happening during Descending or Schism. Being on the younger side of TOOL fans, I see them as a band that wouldn’t trace moshing anymore. Also the fan base is like not much younger than Maynard so if a mosh did happen, then someone should probably throw out a hip or something

Nobody running around in circles, a singer who can hold a note, average drum patterns ( instead of blast boring as shit beats) that most music teachers can't decide what the time signatures are. I could go on and on. I wasn't there but I've been told the sound was absolutely ridiculously superb. Not being a fan of the band could also be a reason why it's described as disappointing. I wouldn't watch a band I didn't like personally. Like when Bon Jovi played fuck knows how long ago, did I watch them ??? No because I've always found them disappointing as a whole. So I went home instead of being disappointed.
