I'm a 40-hour old amoeba and I love TOOL, and I plan on listening to this song on repeat until I undergo fission, then there's going to be two of us listening, then four, and hopefully by the end of the year we'll fill up a small venue. Maybe TOOL will be there. This song is very inspirational to our DNA programming.

My late fiance and I bonded over TOOL in high school. He was my best friend. We graduated 2001 and later became a couple. TOOL and APC fueled us. This was his favorite TOOL song. We last saw them live 2019 in A.C.. He could play the guitar lines flawlessly. I loved watching him. Sadly, he passed last month from a torn small intestine. I miss him everyday and listening to TOOL makes me feel like he's still around.

I ama 56 year old schmuck with a wife and two dogs and I have been a Tool fan for one whole day. After seeing them last night at Aftershock in Sac..My wife has been a huge fan for decades. When they played this song, I left for parts unknown, I do not know where. Transported to noplace and everywhere all at once. I just closed my eyes and let the music drill holes in my mind. 5 songs later I was still there, my wife a couple feet in front if me, flailing away like those blow up flappity tube salesman things. If you have not seen this band make nusic live, do it! Its an utterly fantastic experience.

Heard this first as a depressed, quiet teen to lift me up on a bad day. Researching this song got me into Carl Jung and started my spiritual and psychological journey in life. Getting into spirituality exposed me to Terence McKenna, Alan Watts, good cannabis, and psychedelic plants. Now I’m 38, and life is still crazy but I’ve learned to deal with what life tries to throw at me…. And I still listen to this to lift me up! Thanks Tool!

I am 27 and share almost the exact same path as you. Started listening to Tool in middle school before weed and just last year got to listen to Intension on DMT, in my back yard with a good friend.

Join in my Join in my child And listen, digging through My old numb shadow My shadow's shedding skin I've been picking Scabs again I'm down, digging through My old muscles looking for a clue I've been crawling on my belly Clearing out what could've been I've been wallowing in my own confused And insecure delusions For a piece to cross me over Or a word to guide me in I want to feel the changes coming down I want to know what I've been hiding In my shadow My shadow Change is coming through my shadow My shadow's Shedding skin I've been picking My scabs again Join in my Join in my child Shadow's Closer to meaning I've been crawling on my belly Clearing out what could've been I've been wallowing in my own chaotic Insecure delusions I wanna feel the change consume me Feel the outside turning in I wanna feel the metamorphosis and Cleansing I've endured in My shadow My shadow Change is coming Now is my time Listen to my muscle memory Contemplate what I've been clinging to Forty six and two ahead of me I choose to live and to Grow, take and give and to Move, learn and love and to Cry, kill and die and to Be paranoid and to Lie, hate and fear and to Do what it takes to move through I choose to live and to Lie, kill and give and to Die, learn and love and to Do what it takes to step through See my shadow changing Stretching up and over me Soften this old armor Hoping I can clear the way by Stepping through my shadow Coming out the other side Step into the shadow Forty six and two are just ahead of me Source: LyricFind Songwriters: Adam Jones / Daniel Carey / Justin Gunner Chancellor / Maynard James Keenan

I'm 82 years old and I have lost my hearing but when I first saw Tool on MTV I decided to make Tool my favorite band. From what I see they are an awesome band. I like that one guys bold head, the singer. He looks cool.

Tool is art in its purest form. I will always love music that makes you think and leaves you breathless. These guys set the bar and nobody else comes close.

I was a 2 day old reticulocyte when erythropoietin introduced me to this music. I've been listening for 110 days straight and have been transformed to an erythrocyte purely by listening to TOOL. I've made all the hemoglobin inside me addicted to this music. This band is amazing.
