Had the time of my life at this show. I drove by myself from LA. Im not embarrassed to admit I'll be driving to San Francisco in June by myself to see them again.

Im from long beach. I saw them at staples night 2. And then got vip ticket to see them again in san Diego. I made a weekend out of it and got a hotel. Also by myself. The sound at staples center was 100 times better, and waaaayy louder. Also, maynard sounded more into it at the l.a. show. I was pissed that the concessions stopped selling beer like halfway through the show (San Diego) because " it was a college town" whatever the hell that meant. Fun weekend none the less.

I’m from San Diego and I went to this concert alone, sat 3 rows back on adams side and can honestly say that was the best concert I’ve experienced thus far. This was my first time seeing them live, still an amazing fucking time

I wouldn’t be embarrassed at all my friend. I’m from the north west of England and in 2008, I travelled to NYC to see (at the time) one of my favourite bands Coheed and Cambria to see them play their first Neverender shows (4 albums back to back in four days). Anyhow, I’ve only got into Tool since last year but I’m already desperately hoping they tour over here to see them. Sorry for the long winded message, but if you wanna do it man do it.

@@billygagliardo7730 If he can nail Parabola and Part of Me the way he has been lately, then I lean more toward it being their scheduled play time. He sounds better and stronger than he has in years. After seeing them for the second time this tour, I wouldn't be surprised if they're discreetly collecting audio/video for a full-blown live experience video release. They are seriously more on-point now than they were the first time I saw them in 2006. And their visual spectacle is unrivaled right now, it is seriously impressive, even after following them for almost two decades.

@@OneMansLoss I saw them last year at Northern Invasion and you're right about the visuals. Absolutely incredible. I didn't even consider the live experience video thing, that would be awesome. I only say that about The Pot because hes in a high pitch the entire song on the record. Im going to see them in Atlanta on the 28th for the new tour so hopefully Maynard drops some gems on us that were not expecting.

@@OneMansLoss I'd have to agree. Maynard's voice hasn't sounded this good since 1998. Sadly, I still fear some high-octanes like Bottom, Undertow, Jerk-Off, maybe even 4 Degrees, probably You Lied too, and Ticks and Leaches, will never be experienced live again. Then again, never say never.

Is this from San Diego because this is a different set list from 1-12-20.. They ended with Stinkfist on 1-10 not 1-12.. The January 12 show ended with 46 and 2.
