ABSURD level of concentration and coordenation. Reading the song and going nuts playing it at the same time (and it's a very difficult one to play). Great job, bro!

I don’t know how you would attempt to play this without sheets out, look at them it’s almost a sheet of wall paper horizontally 😂 only one issue it the horrible sounding ride bell sound, someone get the man a new ride 😂
@_iKabal7 жыл бұрын
I was really honing in on your hi hat and ride work expecting to find small flaws in the groove but I could find none. You really nailed all of the diddles on the hats during the verses and the pre bridge just before the breakdown as well as the bells on the ride. A lot of people miss those but not you. Awesome cover, great attention to detail \m/ 5/5

nice cover mate ! could you tell me the sticking for the part starting at 5:37 ? :D
@mgtimp9 жыл бұрын
+Zodiacdrummer Sure, I'll try. Do you mean just the part where the left hand plays the tom and occasionally hits the snare while the right plays the ride, occasionally hitting the bell? Use alternating sticking: RLRL etc. Hit the snare on beat 4. Hit the bell on beat 3 and 5. It's in 6/8. Hope that helps:) There is a link to detailed sheet music in the description box if that is of any use to you. Thanks for watching!

Man, you did a bang up job on this, seriously. But I am still hearing something different the second time through the double bass tom pattern that I don't hear from anybody else doing covers of this song. Maybe I'm crazy, but it's something different in the foundation of the beat the second time around. Damn that Danny Carey!!

Your playing is flawless, outstanding, simply perfect, is the high tuning of the smallest tom what doesn´t fit in the song.... Anyways, 5 stars.
@mgtimp8 жыл бұрын
Really appreciate that! :DLooking back at this, I would have to agree with you. I've improved my mixing skills so that I now achieve a more balanced sound. If I get to the point where I have time to start redoing covers, I would mix this so that the rack toms don't stick out so much. I'm thrilled that this has received as many views as it has and that people seem to enjoy it. Thanks for watching!
