46&2 is a reference to chromosomes. We currently have a 44 & 2 setup in our bodies. 46&2 represents an evolution in humankind, in our consciousness. An ascension further up the spiral. Spiral out!
@BoolFalse4 ай бұрын
only just from the title, at first i thought it's like a man and a woman (two) with 46 chromosomes.. so that's why it's not "46 & 2" but "Forty Six & 2" for marking it.. not sure about the meaning 🌀👁️🔧
@catcrawford408125 күн бұрын
We currently have 23. & 2 xy. If evolved to a higher level of consciousness it would be forty six & 2. Based on the Carl Jung theory…

Never knew this song or band. My husband just got back from being gone for a long time. We had welcome home party at the bar, and their deployment work up video played this. I ask what is this?! It is incredible to me. And the younger guy in their crew that made the video for this also plays in cover band so we see him at the bars now. A warrior and musician. There were other songs in the video but this made the hair raise on my neck.

Tool is way beyond any average band cause their progressive elements take some time to take in. I've been a fan since the late 90s and I hope to see more great albums in the future. They don't do that very often, you know! I'm glad that you are discovering them, you can expect only the unexpected lol One of their masterpiece songs is Schizm from the album Lateralus, both musically and lyrically. You should try that in the future. Cheers from Brazil \m/

Id recommend either The Grudge, Lateralus, or Schism. Speaking of Schism, there's a video I think you would like on the channel Drumeo titled Dennis Chambers Hears Tool for the first time. There's not really a strict "order" you should listen in, but most people will recommend the more accessible Tool songs to start with. Some of their songs are very musically dense and can be quite overwhelming - particularly with some of the grooves and rhythmic switch ups - and they tend to make that much use of melody or common structures like most people are used to (opting for a more tribal, rhythmic sound, as you've already noticed) so a lot of people find it difficult to find something to latch onto. Believe it or not, what you've listened to so far has been on the more accessible end of Tool's discography, and is what most people would consider "gateway songs" (which makes Tool sound like a hard drug - and in some ways they are!) Seeing as you're very clearly someone who's into drums, I'd recommend the Danny Carey drum cam version of Pneuma (from the Vic Firth channel). Hearing the drums is impressive enough, but watching him play is a whole other level of mind blowing, and it's a high-quality live recording. (Just don't even attempt to figure out the time signatures, it'll drive you crazy!) I'd also recommend Right In Two and Schism.

@TheOneLTReacts it isn't an implication. People start new pages all the time. I'm not opposed, I was literally asking. Either way, I've followed and enjoyed his content for yrs. Maybe he had posted something I missed. I don't appreciate dishonesty about "first listens" ... but I get it. I don't dislike the content, I just don't think deception is a good business practice. Like I said, I could be wrong or misinformed. That's the point of a question.

@jru3949Ай бұрын
I've literally watched your reactions to many many types of music, and have enjoyed them all. And also respecting you all the way through... but there is no way to primally react to groups like tool and present it as a first time reaction when I've seen someone who I respected, reacting first time, to something I've watched them react to on a different channel. I'm not mad! And I could surely be wrong. I respect both creators for their work. But it seems sus. Or I wouldn't have even asked. Not an allegation. Simply a question from a fan
