Tool Review Dspiae tools for modeling

A little review of a line of tools from Dspiae. Very good quality but should you spend the money on them?

I purchased 2x DSPAEI sprue cutters with the intention of giving one away in a competition on my site and keeping the other set to use for myself, to begin with they were fantastic, very impressed, I even made a video shouting there qualities, I was so hyped to have a pair, in the end the second pair were won by a viewer and lasted three weeks until I was contacted to say they had snapped, my pair of cutters also became fairly useless after a couple of months, I have tried to sharpen them and tried to write to DSPAE to get them replaced early on, but I received no response, I highly rate Brett and his channel but I think DSPAE certainly in my case is not what I thought it was.

I purchased the circle cutter about a year ago and it's absolutely the best tool to have. Precise circles every time

The thinnerline circle cutter goes for about half the price of the Dspiae cutter. That being said, I bought the Dspiae sprue cutters and pin vice and they are really nice tools of excellent quality.

I've been looking at getting the side cutters for months and never gone for it. I really have to. Thanks for the video.

Hey Bret, nice review. For superglue I use RB applicators in an xacto knife and I put a drop of superglue in the lid of a Pringles tube. Once dry the superglue will simply snap away leaving the lid ready fpr re-use. I have to ask, what on earth have you been cutting with your Tamiya Snips? They are only meant for plastic you know!!

Thanks for watching. As far as I can recall I've only cut plastic sprues with them, so unless someone else used them while I was working...

nice review ;) but dude how can yon fucked up a tamiya nipper after only 6 month of use ?? i have mine for about 2 years and it cut already well :) btw the dspiae nipper is lit
