Hi Dony hope you don;t mind me jumping on this video, I checked and you don't have many hedge trimmer videos. I just used my Stihl HS45 Hedge Trimmer today. The blades got stuck and I pulled on the throttle trigger about 3 or 4 times it would not move the baldes. Then I noticed the blade was caught on a bit of wire fence. I pulled it out and it was back to normal except it immediately now starts making a rattle noise when revved what has caused the rattle please? EDIT: Someone has suggested filing the burr off the blade. There is a burr and I will file it off and see if it fixes it.

I like these tools a lot but what most people don’t realize are that these Vampliers are rebranded Engineer pliers. Look at 1:08, it’s upside down but you can even see the “Engineer” brand name on the handle. I have the larger Neji-Saurus pliers and they are awesome. These 7.5 inch needle nose are $43 on Amazon but the same exact tool with green handle called the Engineer PZ-60 (193mm) is $28. So you’re paying $15 for a red handle.

Checked them out. They are only in the US. The delivery to Canada is half their price of them. Could also be duty on them above this. Would like a pair but will wait to see if they become stock in Amazon Ca. In the past I have used vice grips to remove what they do. Thanks for showing these. I think they would be a great tool in my tool box

Shop Tools; Show us the tire gauge you recommend and use in your shop, that's accurate enough for us as not to cost an arm and leg. Some recommend a 0 - 30 psi range???

Ive ordered the pair of them but the exchange rate makes them very expensive for here in Australia, $170 AU delivered but I think they will be very handy on the small screws

I get it they are cool by design and I have owned several pairs however the grippers on the jaws wear down after a few years of daily use. No way I’m paying 30-40 for a pair of pliers that only have a 4 year warranty. Dollar store tools have a lifetime warranty now days, I would definitely recommend encouraging them to re visit their warranty policy as it sucks for the price people are paying.

Gorgeous tools Dony but man are they pricey! I realize for a business they're more easily justified but for the weekend warrior like me perhaps not. If I spent $40 - $60 dollars or more on a pair of pliers I think I'd want to admire their beauty rather than dirty them. LOL Great video Dony and those are first class tools! 👍🏻👍🏻

I figured the Vampliers had to have some use when I saw Knipex started making their own version of the same thing 😁. Kind of a bummer they aren't lifetime warranty like so many other hand tools, but maybe these take more abuse than wrenches.

I appreciate the detailed close up views of those pliers. They look like they would work well. My concern is that the grips appear to be quite detailed with slots and grooves. How hard is it to keep these clean? A smooth handle grip takes one wipe to remove grime. What has been your experience with these?

I haven't had to clean the handles because I only use them for screw extraction. Most likely a bit of compressed air would clean the slots quite easily

Thats an early Briggs and Stratton carburetor, possibly from a Sears wood Chipper? I am saying that because I am trying to find parts for one right now. Having special pliers for special jobs can save your bacon when doing a job. I have several different types. I use a wide variety of Channel locks as well. As an RC Hobbiest, those pliers come in handy for repairing RC Planes and cars.

Pro tip: The word "Engineer" is molded into the handles because that's who actually makes them. Buy them under that brand name and save yourself a few bucks.

Well I use a Snap-On tools. The only thing I look for in a hand tool is a good pair of hemostats. Needle nose pliers who knows players. Sometimes you need to get into a job. With hemostats! Like a surgeon.

Take a pair of thin nose genuine vise grips, not Chinese copies. Carefully grind the tip down on a bench or surface grinder with a container of water right next to the grinder and dip often. Work slowly and carefully. You will be able to lock on and remove screws in locations these pliers wouldn’t be able to fit into. Made mine years ago and use them almost daily. Would not be without them.

I do believe you have used this brand before.......however it would have been more convincing if you whipped a pair out and showed us the actual pair or pairs you have been using. Complete with grease on the handle etc.
