Tool - Schism. Drums performed on Yamaha Stage Custom

The track ‘Schism’, is one of my favourite songs by the hard rock band Tool. Their drummer, Danny Carey, is, in my opinion, the best drummer in the world - ahead of the likes of Neil Peart, Will Calhoun, Billy Cobham, Simon Phillips, and, yes, Buddy Rich - the latter who whom I think is something of a cliche as every drummer seems to say how great he was because everybody else says that. For me, Buddy Rich did fast jazz solos and more often than not the same old rudimental solo that he spent most of his career doing. Don’t get me wrong, Buddy was an incredible drummer, but not the best and certainly not as good as Danny Carey, not by a stretch - nuff said.
