Hey Marty on my first day of 9th grade I walked into guitar class and everyone was talking about you and how they’ve learned so much from you so just so you know you have inspired so many musicians. I’m in a band now and I still learn songs from you ever since you first taught me redemption song, keep on making great stuff man love ya

Not even three minutes in and the clarity you have in explaining different things is greatly appreciated. It's so easy to listen and absorb the information because there's no superfluous annoying filler. More yt guitar tutes should be done like this. 👍 Thanks. PS any time signature info would be great too as i know tool isn't all 4/4 and tbh I have a hard time working out whats happening in some songs.

The beauty of this song, I think, is its deceptive simplicity. Playing the notes/chords is one thing, but giving it that haunting "emptiness" and urgency, well, there's the rub. Oh, and it completely rocks.

Awe man! That's so fun to learn! Would really like to see Lateralus. I learned a bit of it but with your lessons I'm sure I could rock the whole song. Keep up the awesome work, Marty!

So I’ve been casually working on the guitar the last year and some odd months. Getting my chords down and learning simple country song to build techniques for proper annunciation and what not. To any new players looking for a metal esk song that is manageable…. This is it!!! Ty Marty. You’ve helped me recover from some heavy shit with your guitar therapy. Love

This is awesome to see! I mentioned you could cover some Tool stuff in your live stream the other week. You said you were thinking about it but not a huge fan yourself, but now here it is! We appreciate how much you listen to your fans. You are the best teacher on KZbin, but you havent covered too much Jazz or Metal which I have found pretty difficult to learn because of the unique tunings, chords, and techniques. Thank you for continuing to diversify your channel and for taking audience feedback. You are the man!
