Rob's Wrenches thank you. If you do decide to get both, I would suggest the new style of the side cutters, they look the same as the duck bills and are supposed to be the update better ones.

After your recent video introducing the Tekton long diagonal cutters, I ordered one. It came in recently, and I've been happy with it. Also got the Mini Vampliers -- will be useful when disassembling old electronic chasses.

It’s hard to beat Klein when it comes to pliers and screwdrivers. I’m going to get my hands on some Tekton pliers and drivers down the road and I’ll compare them.

Ethan Devlin cheesy. the action feels kinda shitty and the direction lever is backwards from every other ratchet I own. better than stanly or craftsmen, not as good as husky even

Yep those USA made pliers are pretty damn nice. I have some and I've reached for my Tekton slip joint pliers over my Snap On ones a few times now. I bought both pair new and just like the Tekton pliers better. From what I've heard those black handled pliers are their old stock and the new ones will look like your duckbill pliers and not like the snap ring ones. Can't really bitch at all with their warranty though, it's superb.

What happens if you crush a filter too much?

You don't use them to install. Just remove the filters. So it doesn't matter about its condition as long as it's removed.

Those are decent pliers but I really like Channellock pliers they are really affordable and are made in the USA. I don't own any Snap On to compare them to I would like some one to compare Channellock to Snap On and other big brands.

Charlie Thompson ya channel lock makes some good stuff. I went with knipex for my good pliers. I don't own any snap on either

Yea hear Knipex make really great pliers I don't own any.But Channellock are cheaper and are really good and made in the USA. I am not a professional tech but I do like to call myself a professional DiYer lol I do all my own mechanic work from oil changes to engine swaps. I really like your content you put out. Thanks

Nice video Tony. The only thing that sucks with tools like Neiko, tekton, gearwrench, etc is if you do break them, you have to wait for a replacement through via mail, ups, fed-ex which sucks but other than that, yes they are decent tools though. Nice review as usual. Have a safe week...
