🔔 Lachy and the boys invited me out to do some filming so we decided to hit the muddiest tracks in victoria - Toolangi State Forrest.
In this #TrackSessions video, We Had a wild day at Toolangi after having a bunch of rain drop down south. All the drivers and cars performed epically!

Hey mate, if you’re talking about the blue and silver GQ I’m the guy who owns it now. Bought it last year off a guy near Geelong. I’ve had to drop a bit of money into it to keep it going and running right but she’s a good rig

I think I saw the 80, Duramax GU and the GQ at Howitt Hut on Australia Day weekend 2021. That Duramax sounds epic, but I imagine it takes some work keeping the diesel up to it haha

Tell me about it mate! He was a very knowledgeable with 4WD'S and 4wdin in general but didn't depth check and had a cold air intake 🤷‍♂️ nice bloke though, guess we have all been there before. I remember drowning my bj40 (first 4wd) i had no idea they needed snorkels back then 🤣👌

probably not a great idea fitting a pod type air filter and then tackle metre deep mud LOL. the motor will be stuffed, so either a big repair bill or would not be surprised if there was a black Ram for sale. only some slightly bend rods...

Cool video. Shame ur 4by couldnt tackle it. One concern i have are all these clowns filming a snatch recovery on their phones standing right there if something goes wrong. That ram was obviously stuck and heavy. Then again it would be cool seeing thevideo on youtube of someone get smacked in the face by a strap or shackle all cause they wanted that wickid gram pic. yeh man, i toyed with the idea of taking the NP but it's really hard to do filming and drive all day as well. especially with a new group I hadn't been out with before. yes I agree RE: people around recovery gear, it was making me very itchy and I tried my best to get most people to stand back or behind a tree, we were not prepared for pulling out that big rig that's for sure!

It helps when you actually give tje strap more than a few inches to snatch, try snaching from half way down the strap next time. You should have got him out first pull. The snatch strap is like a rubber band compared to the other straps in your recovery bag
