Watching this from the 80 series lift. Man your lighting is so much better than any other instructional video, also you get some very helpful angels. Great work on this one.

Stoked on these videos mate. Think I’ll give a 3 inch lift a crack on my new SL Navara S5 after watching these. Legend!

If you’ve got access to a compressor and don’t have a mate handy you can use a vacuum bleeder to do your brakes. Many will swear by the 2 person method but I’ve never had issues at work using a vacuum bleeder and it saves time. Factory exhaust deffs needs to go lol. Can’t wait to see what system you go with. DPF deletes are a touchy subject but with all the threats of 5 digit fines from the EPA I’ve never seen anybody get done. Only issue is once that system goes so does your warranty and you’ll never obtain a roadworthy

yup ain't nuthin wrong with a vacuum bleeder if you have one. exhaust is a hard one man..i am currently giving it some thought 😀👍

Great vid bud. Only thing is that drivers side rear is actually the furtherest from the master cylinder. Its the longest line.

Keep the videos coming . My to-do list is gonna be so much easier to knock off thanks to all the info you're sharing. p.s. Watching all the way from Barbados.

What about a pad/rotor upgrade? I find my SL D23 has always felt a little vague. Thanks
@jpcaptured7994 жыл бұрын
I have found mine to be pretty good and better now with the lines. But whe I'm due for pads and rotors i will most likley use a slotted rotor and performance pad setup on the front.

My Np300 is a 6 speed manual. And when I went into 4lo the other day when taking it out it was making a clicking sound as I was driving it. Any ideas?

That's a 3 inch kit isn't it? Normally you've got to cut your rear cross member to clear the drive shaft
@jpcaptured7994 жыл бұрын
3 up the front 2 up the back mate.
@bbggakkba4 жыл бұрын
@@jpcaptured799 ahh righto 👌 thought it was 3 inch all round. No worries then!
@yourmotherlovesit4 жыл бұрын
That's not to do with lift, it is how much droop you have
@bbggakkba4 жыл бұрын
@@yourmotherlovesit it's too do with both. The higher you lift it automatically the closer the drive shaft is to the cross member. Then as it droops it gets even closer. You don't have to tell me I'm getting ready to cut mine to match my 4 inch shocks
@yourmotherlovesit4 жыл бұрын
Height doesn't matter. Droop limits it. Doesn't matter if it is a standard height spring or a 3 inch spring. The droop allowed by the shock is going to stop it from traveling any further

Hey! is this suspension applicable for 2017 Np300 4x2 particularly the shocks and coil spring? my navara is my daily car so often times on the road and seldom offroading. would you recommend that brand of shocks and spring to my Navara? Thanks

You should actually open the bleeder before you have your helper applying pressure to the brake pedal! I am too tired to leave a detailed explanation on why but if you have to ask why you should probably brush up on Automotive brake systems!
