@@musicformonsters if you are a woman you know damn it’s true. I’m not talking about rape culture or anything like that but anytime there’s a space that’s predominantly male and another woman enters, and it’s always a competition. All I see are some bitter women because they weren’t able to get more people into those seats. I went to that game where Caitlyn played against the Sparks. Give the woman her flowers I understand she’s a rookie, but she is in fact, the reason why more people are watching the games. It’s also wild some of the other female players making comments about her when their stats don’t even match up.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more unlikable group of people than the wnba , you lose money every year, you spend your time complaining and your games are unanimously called boring. Then this phenom caitlin comes in brings eyes to your sport, brings money, brings charisma and unquestionable talent. Your first response is to tear her down immediately. They should close the wnba and make them earn it, any other league that loses money like that would close down. No one is stupid enough to keep dumping money on a sinking ship. Caitlin deserves better than being dragged down like that.

Brianna Stewart was the one that got me. The racism coming from the black players I expected and we saw it with Angel Reese the previous year. They did everything to avoid saying Clark the best player in college history. It wasn't until I saw Stewart hate on Clark, that it really set in how few allies she has in the league. In a league that's vastly overrepresented with black lesbians, they can't even hide the fact they will target, hate, and discriminate against the straight White woman.

Men practice humility and acknowledgement of talent, and are willing to learn when they understand there's more to learn so that they may get better. Men live by "the only easy day was yesterday," "you're only as good as your last job," and "you learn more in defeat than you do in victory, because you learn how to identify and overcome your weaknesses." There's a reason why women more often excel in individualist rather than team sports. They inherently compete against one another, whereas men learn to overcome differences and work together. I've even heard female drill instructors admit they'd rather lead a team of men than a team of women for this very reason.
