One of my parents best friends was a mechanic and electrician. He was my mentor for that type of work growing up. He taught me how to do everything and was helping out my parents at the same time because they had four kids to feed and house and just didn’t have the money for expensive repairs. Anytime something broke instead of just doing it himself he would teach me how to fix it at the same time. He was an incredibly good guy and would help anyone out without asking for anything in return.

Stop thinking of Snapon as an investment. He will spend YEARSSS parting this out to get some money back, but what will most likely happen is he'll sell it for pennies on the dollar as a package.... or the more likely scenario his daughters will give it away after he dies.

This is a justifiable obsessive collection, LOL.Man, would I like to know a guy like this for when I get stumped on something. Thank you Mike for taking the time to show all of this.

I wondered when Mike moved the blow molded case and said "that is a DP51" if it was a Daewoo. Later he mentioned working on firearms and then I knew it probably was a Daewoo. Interesting set of tools and some very nice ones. So many that will not be used until somebody is "restoring" an antique car from the 1970's to 1990's. Mike seems to be the kind of guy who people can go to when they are in need of help and can't afford to visit a repair shop. I know of a few people who help out like that and I have done the same myself when I could. Take care, jack
