Most Chevrolets are still using the old method to reset the oil light. Turn on the key and press the accelerator pedal three times to the floor immediately. 👍🏻

Which is more capable, this or the THINKSCAN 689BT?
@ToolDemosАй бұрын
The OTOFIX has better graphing, more service functions and better battery life. The 689BT has a better 8” screen, lifetime updates, a kickstand, and a magnetic holder for the dongle. It also costs a couple hundred more. Hard to pick which one I would want, they’re both great little scanners.

I used an Autel once and it was painfully slow. I think it was a mk808bt maybe? Maybe it was the car. I didn't get much time on it tho. I like how that otofix has the quick menu buttons at the bottom and the top. I'm coming from an older corded xtool d8. I really liked and got used to the interface and layout. It being android based it was all familiar to me. But I never liked the cord and the browser is outdated and not updateable. Doesn't have the play store for updates and KZbin is not supported on the old browser. I would like to try out an autel type tool sometime to see if I like it. I had ordered a Topdon Phoenix Plus during black Friday but I didn't like that it didn't have access to the Android interface and didn't have playstore. I sent it back and have a Launch x431 pro3s on the way. It has the features I was looking for. Hope I like the Launch platform. That otofix looks nice. I've heard good things about them. Great review👍

Thanks! I think you’ll love that Launch, great tool.

Its not my main scanner, but for $200, it was a no brainer to add the autel software to my launch and xtool software. Its so compact too. You can damn near fit it in your pocket.
@ToolDemosАй бұрын
@@victorhoyt4352 yeah, same here. Having an Autel opens up more abilities.

When/where did you pay $200 for the Otofix D1 Lite? They are a little under $400 right now with coupon.
