I learned the hard way, when checking a receivers output in the plane, make sure the esc/bec is not powered. The M8 does not like 5v coming in on it's test port. RIP M8, I really miss you. ToolkitRC Rocks

Great device. I have already M7 and the only issue discovered is about front glass that goes disconnected because of heating. I hope this one isn't affect of same issue. Thanks for your videos I always appreciate due to simple but complete explanation.

If you already have the M7, why would it be worthwhile to buy the MC8, given the M7 can be used as a tester and is also a charger? Can the M7 be used as a lipo checker without the need for a separate lipo to be used as input (like with the mc8 where you can just connect up the battery to be tested, which also then acts as the power source for the device)?
