That boat deck looks decidedly rickety and you are all very trusting of the boat's seaworthyness. I bet those neighbours are celighted to see the work you are doing.

Some great finds. There was once definitely a woman in the house. The study chair is lovely. And all the tea pots. And chandelier. Bottle brush flowers are real messy and scatter everywhere once they shed the stamens. Dont put near the house or pathways.

Hi guys, love watching the transformation of your property. I agree with one of the other comments about washing in a plastic tube but - TOP TIP FIRST: look for any labels prior to washing any of the porcelain teapots, statues or metal work. If there are any labels carefully remove them - DON'T THROW AWAY as these can help identify anything of value and help retain the authenticity of an item. Also use a mild detergent / soap so you don't harm any of the painted images and use soft brushes to get in the nooks and crannies. I would also suggest that once washed have a look on the bottom of the pieces to see if there are any makers marks so you can use it to google them and do some research - don't just sell them at a garage sale - do your research first; some of them might be worth some $$$$$ - even the metal ones look old and could be of value. Good luck with everything - I look forward to your following your adventures ......

After all the expense of clearing the land the real treasures were in the two garages. So many really good things. Cute, funny, and then the useful items found. The boat is just the best. You never know when you might need one during a bad storm. Or if you just need to escape for awhile on the river. Carry On.

You have really struck gold with your China teapots and things. Check their bottoms for makers marks. This can the lead you onto their ages and possibly where they were made. Great finds!! Just love the teapots. I collect that sort of stuff!!

My Nanna had the same cabinet you showed after the leather chair. It was called a cystal cabinet, to display, your crystal kitchen wares. The crystal things you held up, one is a ring holder. The hats were a deer stalker (hunter), chinese army, and a railway porter's. I could go on and on! i hope you are selling these treasures, or donating and not sending them to landfill. Don't remind me of the Flymo! The electric cable was always a worry I would chop it by accident!

THe number of treasures is crazy. The antique chairs, cupboards, and little table. I'm drooling. They will look amazing with a little restoration. They are almost perfect as is. The book shelf looks like a 90's pine. Free boat. Yay. Gotta love a pushy sales person that follows you around and wont leave you alone 😆

That dingy just made your new backyard a lot bigger. My backyard creek isn't deep enough for a paddle usually. When it is though, I'd be in your neighborhood in a matter of hours! What a wonderful place you have found to live. Looking forward to seeing more of the journey. Greetings from Brisneyland west (Ashgrove).

Looks good want website did U see house or was it council non paying taxes... If U like bottlebrushes trees there is a nice colour purple... You would get good crabs and maybe crayfish like yabbies... I got 1 tree cut down and I had to get council permits cost me $80 over 10yrs ago... U should put a seating area near your back dock with BBQ out there...❤😂❤😂 Can't want to see the finish house...don't put up Palm trees they are messy trees or jacaranda they fall on houses...and stain everything...

Astonishing what people leave behind. Looks like some real treasures! Seeing the old furniture made my soul sing. I love love love antique/vintage pieces. I’m currently restoring a 1928 deco vanity for my granddaughter. I’m so glad that you find beauty in the old things found! Hope to see them cleaned up and in use at a later date. I know nothing about tea pots, but I know some can hold huge value. Hope you can find info on them. I love the videos and seeing all the progress being made! I appreciate that you allow us to tag along on your journey. Y’all are doing a wonderful job and it’s so fun to watch! Look forward to the next vid! 🎉 12:52

Absolutely go for the Grevilleas, they don't stop flowering here in Perth - provides food for bees and New Holland Honey-eaters all year, hope it is the same for your area. We have several of the dwarf varieties (small unit complex) and bring so much joy and colour. The kangaroo paw are busting out this year, the bloom stems are 6ft tall around my garden. Enjoying very much watching your progress and love your narrating!!
