I have those Caplugs in my Amazon wish list after watching that video! I was hoping they'd go on sale for Prime Day. Hopefully, black Friday. If not, I'll just have to buy them at full price. Here's my latest tip: Hack saw, smaller hack saw, miter box saw, wood saw... How to store 8 saws in my tool box? I used a pair of desktop letter organizers ($14 on Amazon) to stand them on edge. They don't cut into my drawer liner or my hand and they fit perfect in a deeper drawer. I have most of my c-clamps on edge, clamped to a piece of wood in the same drawer. BTW, I've had one of those big baking sheets in my garage since sometime in the early 90's. I can't even remember where I got it! I used to keep it under my old Blazer that leaked from every gasket, and now I use it for all sorts of things. It was super handy a few weekends ago, when I was pressure bleeding my brakes and the catch bottle fell over... on the baking sheet...

I love those line plugs. Come in super handy on equipment with hydraulic lines and manifolds. There are times where I do wish I had a screw on caps to hold back more pressure. But those rubber plugs work for most things and they work really well.

That oxygen sensor air hammer adapter is neat. Do you know if anyone makes an adapter with a socket drive and a divot like that to get a hit on the side. Or a wrench adapter that lets you boost with an air hammer. I know they have stuff like the Mayhew bolt breaker but that requires a lot of room sticking out and doesn't work for every scenario.

I gave up on scan tools using the phone. One huge complaint is that thing is slow! The ThinkDiag version is ok, but dongle died 9 months in and I tossed it in the trash. They are sort of a gimmick since the ALL car yearly subscription renew is crazy expensive! This combined with the problems above, I don't recommend it. Some tools I use pretty often are a combination of 3-4 fan clutch tools from Blue-Point which I purchased on eBay. One is like a hook for those fans pulleys or clutches with studs and nuts. The other one has the pins and one with two different sizes large open wrenches for GM and Chrysler. Another for like Ford Rangers. That and air hammer with long Mayhew tapered punch is all you need. I recently purchased the high torque DeWalt 1/2 Dr and it's huge and heavy. Also bought the updated 800 ft lbs DeWalt mid torque which looks same as older version. I don't recommend either of those impacts. The Milwaukee version is smaller but I didn't want to change battery platforms. I do think Snap-on has the best cordless ratchets, but they not worth the money. The Milwaukee M12 work ok and you don't have to get grease all over your hands on a weekly basis like Snap-on. Tools keep you broke even after you retire and don't need most of them. What I should do is open a pawn shop in town and use my tools to kickatart my business. But it's very difficult to let go of what took a lifetime to get! Probably what I end up doing though in the next year or two. I really need to stop buying tools. I did buy a chainsaw after the hurricane hit. Not cordless but tried and true 2-stroke gas engine, can't beat it! I don't like buying big batteries 😳
@ToolBoxTour
