I love how analytical you are. I live for this kind of thing. if something can be calculated or quantified in any way I always try to do it too lol just out of curiosity sake it’s interesting and keeps things organized in my brain.

I love this idea. I'm panning palletes and I count the times I use a pallete, just not the shade. It shows me my go to favorites and then the ones I need to try and use up more. Still, takes forever for me to pan!

I don't know why but I love seeing your pan videos (more than other you tubers). I think it's because there's so much pan! You actually use all of your stuff and I can see progress. You're doing awesome, and it inspires me to use my stuff! Also, I just got the Enduring Love palette (I splurged on the sale, but in my defense I only have 7 palettes now), could you do a 3 (or 5 or 7) looks video with it sometime? I'm going to need some inspiration since it's not totally neutral. I don't quite know what to do with it yet, ha!

Thanks, Janelle! And yes! I ordered a couple Sydney Grace singles and I hope to do an eyeshadow bingo in December. I’ll try to do more looks with it ♥️♥️

1000 times makes more sense to me on how fast it would take me to use up my too faced shadows. I wonder how long it will take before I hit pan on my natasha denona shadows as I use those loads at the moment 🤔 Already made a big dip in the shimmer shade brass from the gold palette. I'm gonna miss that shade!

The cool thing about your videos is that you actually use the shades I'd never reach for that I should reach for. All the shimmer shades and pastel shades have pan and my pan is in grey and black. I should try to be more creative with my color story.

I have the Queen of Hearts palette too! It's good to know how long I expect to use the product. 🥴🥴🥴

I love this video series! It is so interesting! 😘 I have started my first project pan only a few month ago and what I can say so far is that it makes a lot of a difference if an eyeshadow has a lot of kick up and also what brushes I use. I have switched now to more pointy and smaller brushes and it is so much faster to hit pan this way. 🙂

I love these videos of yours. It's very interesting how it takes such different amounts of usage to hit pans in various shadows. Stay safe! TFS! ~ Nona

So I've got pan on a lot of different eyeshadows and I find that the hardest to hit pan on are too faced, then Urban Decay shadows, then KVD (old formula). Those are the hardest pressed. Then Tarte eyeshadows and sleek. Tarte are not as hard pressed and sleek eyeshadow pans are relatively shallow. The easiest is Anastasia and Lorac.

I've never tried the Sleek formula but I agree with how you rank the other brands!

Do most people who try to “hit pan” use smaller brushes and focus on one spot? I notice that the hole is usually so small and focused in an area.
@TooMuchTash3 жыл бұрын
Sometimes! It depends on the brush and where I'm applying. The cream matte shades have a wider pan because I use a bigger brush and use more to cover my entire eyelid. The light shimmers I use a small brush and only apply to my inner corner. For other colors/ finishes I might just use it on the lower lashline or only in the crease.
