9:57 brotha, you can connect your USB mic on g6 dac! condenser mics need power and 3.5mm jack. Leave the usb cable on and just add (2 male) 3.5mm jack from your mic to the mic port on the g6. and there you have your mic connected on g6! Cheers!

@@gleesyy I bought it and yeah it works great! I combo it with the DT 990 Premiums and use Direct Mode with High Gain and you are all set. Those are the ideal settings and should work with the 990 Pros as well.

@@melonz6581 Yep, it is a great combo with the DT 990s and is super simple to set up. Just go into direct mode and switch on the high gain switch all on the side of the AMP and you are chillin.

Hmmm. One of the benefits I see from the g6 is that it has an opt in for console sound and also a USB that you can plug into your PC for PC sound. Were you able to test if you can get sound from both the optical port and USB at the same time? Reason: So I can play games on my console while still being able to talk with friends/listen to music coming from my PC.

@@divyenjoshi1168 so currently I have the modmic USB, G6, and Razer Raiju Ultimate plugged in to USB. I had to use a USB hub with multiple USB slots so you can use all 3. Hope this helps. Look on Amazon. I bought one for like $12

@Too Much Tech i just bought this and i have it paired with Sennheiser HD 660S and it sounds great but when i go in game to play escape from tarkov im on scout mode but for some reason when my friend speaks in discord it lowers my volume while hes talking then it will go back to normal after a few seconds as long as no other sounds are detected. idk why it does that. do you happen to know? sbx isnt on so i dont think its smart volume

Will the G6 go into rest mode even if it's always on when plugged into a Power Bar(With surge protector) via USB, and then into a wall outlet? Even though the Volume dial light & X logo light always remain on, once I unplug my headphones and it's not being used, it cools down pretty quickly. SoftyCrab the software isn’t bad! I don’t main it because it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for but for now I use a FiiO K5 pro but it’s not as powerful so I might upgrade to something else at some point but it’s definitely adequate. I prefer the FiiO because it’s a cleaner/pure sound where the soundblaster G6 is much more customizable and you can make anything sound how you want

PC38X is only 28 ohms. It doesn't need a DAC, like, at all. Unless you want the SBX virtual surround, which isn't needed nowadays as PS5 has 3D tempest audio and PC/Xbox has Dolby Atmos and/or DTS:X. Or unless you want the EQ settings. Otherwise skip it. Unless you're upgrading to headphones with 100 ohms+
