I have been using Blender professionally for nearly 5 years. I learn something new every day. However, I have learned so many more tips-tricks during this 4 part tutorial series than I have a several weeks of learning. So good! Thank you for sharing it. I am bookmarking the series and have notes as to where in each video you covered a particular thing so I can quick reference it!

I held off saying anything until the end, because sometimes the idea is to follow along and either mess up, learn from said mess up, or pick up some new tricks along the way. Here, I picked up a few thicks and ways to do things. In other elements I already knew how to do things but it didn't bug me, as it just meant I didn't have to pause as I was following along. One big thing I learned, which might be surprising, is the steam trick. Another, which is less surprising, is the way to make the toonish shadows. The whole Shader to RGB workflow isn't fully new to me, but most who bring it in, just slap a group node to "fix" a lot of the down time of building it. Which when you're learning something, it is better to learn how to build the thing than to just have it built for you. Because, sometimes it doesn't fit what you're wanting to do, or the object needs a different touch, (ala the napkin or bubbles) and if you just got a group node you'd not know how to tweak things or worse yet, even if you did, the node might be set up for one type of object and not what you're needing from it. While this flow might not be usable in animation, (I'm going to do some tests to see how it feels in such a flow), it cannot be denied how awesome the final product looks. Even though I didn't follow 1 for 1 (which you shouldn't fully because you'd just be copying not learning), it still turned out so good looking. ALSO! Something to note for those who are off-handedly wondering what the name of the window shadow thing is. Gobos! They're not only a real thing used in movie production, there is ways for you to make your own and assign them to your asset library. How do I know this? There's an addon that I got that has not only still Gobos but looped animated ones. (Making them is so time consuming but they ad so much to a piece) Thank you Ryan King. This was not only enjoyable in a LoFi sort of way, but also I did pick up some things I plan on testing out in future projects. ^^

With the theapot the lit on the top doesn't have the black outline, but the bottom has. How can I fix this? for the other objects it works

Try the object grease pencil, although it may take longer to render

you can separate the top of the teapot and make it its own object.

Hello sir! Your tutorial is an excellent source of learning blender. but, many people in my country does not know English well, . May I remake your tutorial in my native language [Bangla] for my native people ? I will remake them from scratch, and surely with proper attribution. though my attribution won't create any diffrence as you are already a great artist, but, This is the most I can offer sir! . I m not good at approaching a proposal, neither my english is good enough to convey my message strongly, thats why there will be a humble request, . if you allow me to remake your tutorial in my native language, it wont bring any harm to you, but support me financially and my native people can learn a lot.

If you are skilled enough to make your own tutorials, then why not you just make your own unique tutorials Instead of copying mine? You can have your own tutorial channel in your language, and make your own unique tutorials. Please don't copy mine. Also, for people who don't know English, they can turn on KZbin's auto translate subtitles.

@@RyanKingArt Thank you sir for replying my query. . It would be great if you suggest me one more thing. . I usually learn from online tutorials. When I think on making my own tutorials, many thing would be similar or inspired from others tutorial. . for example, let say, I will create a tutorial on "Toon style car in a forest" as I learn many technique from your "Toon style tea scene", so, many approach would be similar in my tutorial too. . Is it permissable? . . . besides, When a make something on blender, I go through many online tutorials. such as, making "Some ice cube inside a glass with some fluid simulation". some tutorial might help me to make the model, some for the fluid simulation, and some for making shader and lighting. . so, after completing the scene, If i make tutorial on my entire process of making "Ice cube inside a glass" is it allowable to do so ?

@@SabbirAhmedSR If you learned how to make your own artworks and tutorials from another tutorial, that's totally fine, as long as you don't make an exact copy of the other persons tutorial. I pretty much learned all of my blender knowledge just from watching other tutorials online, like Blender Guru, and many other tutorial channels. I'd recommend just not copying someone else's tutorial exactly, but make your own unique stuff.
