I spoke with the developer about the transparency issue and it does indeed save to files with transparency in HEVC codec. If you import your MOV into procreate it will have a transparent background. Unfortunately, HEVC is not very recognized amongst many applications and do not know how to handle the codecs information…such as OBS. He said ‘’for a future update I will look into whether the iPad’s video encoder also supports other codecs with transparency, something like ProRes 4444 maybe. Those might be more widely supported by other applications’’.

One more thing, I believe the “transparent backround” thing did work on the first attempt. When making videos with transparent backgrounds, it’ll “make the backround black” because when you hide the menu’s on photos to make something “full screen” it gives it a black backround, but once you exit full screen it’s still transparent

Thank you! I wonder how to draw an ellipse, using shape assist, so that its major axis is snapped onto the horizontal. If I use shape assist to draw an ellipse, then there is no way to control the rotation of the ellipse via snapping.

@@StayfDrawssomeone just corrected you but you didn’t respond to that….he said the export MOV transparency worked the first time….showing black on preview means it’s transparent….you doing a great work and deserve a praise but also pay attention to those who are helping you out…we are a community of creative adventurers anyway.

Hey Ik ben ook Nederlands en vroeg me af waarom zie ik deze functie niet staan bij mij. De functie om mijn achtergrond transparant te maken? ToonSquid moet up-to-date zijn heb wel maar een iPad mini maar denk dat het wel niet aan dit kan liggen.

De optie codec include transparency staan er gewoon niet bij mij 🥲.

Ik denk dat het dan wel te maken heeft met de iPad Mini. Deze kan waarschijnlijk de grote bestanden niet aan. Je kan het beste direct vragen aan de developer. toonsquid.com/support/
