I can admit as someone who played the original tto I was so happy playing ttr, and then last year I found Corprate clash and I’ve been playing it a ton ever since, toontown was indeed the mmo that never faded away
@anothercharles Жыл бұрын
the player base of corp and rewritten is the most respectful and positive community i’ve ever been with. probably because the general age range is 20-25 mostly of people who have played tto when they were kids, or adults that have found a love for the game in tto. i’ve been in 3 active discord community’s of mostly 20-40 yr olds that love grinding and sharing their love for the game.

Its great. The only negative experiences I ever had was getting greened on a VP fight in TTR, but nothing like that has happened since or ever happened in Corporate Clash

Fr the community is always so kind!!! I always remember seeing crowds of toons in ddl just huddling around while people spam beans callouts

clash? yeah. rewritten has some of the rudest players I've ever seen on a kids game and the gms are like nonexistent

Between Toontown, Phantasy Star Online, and City of Heroes, I'm glad these games that normally would be inaccessable (or SP only in PSO's case) are being preserved by dedicated fans for a new generarion to experience.
@Stevenator54610 ай бұрын
Definitely. Games are one of the worst archived forms of media and lots of them are lost to time or inaccessible in any way but illegal emulation, which really sucks. I'm glad there are more efforts being had to preserve games or at least revive them in a similar vein to movies, music, and literature preservation

Thank you so much for this video! I feel so validated haha, cause that's the exact feeling I had with Toontown Rewritten! It's too similar to TTO, and TTO is just bad. Opening up that blast to the past just made me doubt why I ever liked Toontown in the first place, but Clash fixes all of the myriad problems and lets the great design shine through! I'd love to play you in Brawlhalla! I'm a kinda mid Xull main though haha. Thank you so much for this video!

I think TTO is a great re-entrance for people who want to relive their nostalgia, but ultimately I'd always direct people towards TTCC since it just builds on all the ideas from the OG! I don't play much BH nowadays haha, but maybe!

i love corporate clash ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️my profile picture doesnt give that away at all also its funny when people make videos about toontown servers like this and mention clash and the things its added, because it feels like every time a video that shows what clash has added shows up theyve already added at least one new thing (like the new animations and new boardbots recently)

I think clash has a whole different storyline and tries to make it there own very of toontown but rewritten is just a hot mess idk what that is anymore
@Stevenator54610 ай бұрын
I wouldn't call rewritten a hot mess! It's a recreation of a game that is, by this point, basically 20 years old. It's a reflection of how far gaming has come since that point, so I think we're all craving something a little bit better. But for people who wanna relive the game was it was, I think it's great! =

I am a toontown purist so corporate clash doesnt even feel like toontown. The point of toontown IS the repetition. Its whats i loved about the game. No matter how tired, sad, scared or manic i am, ttr is my safe space where i can just drown in the repetition of it all. Corporate clash is gaudy, overstimulating and overcomplicated. I played it for 5 minutes and was so confused at how much had changed i never looked back. TTR is almost like a mobile game in its simplicity and i love that. It is therapeutic in every way. But if you dont want a calming experience then corporate clash is the game for you! It is chaotic which i guess is what toontown wanted to be in the first place.
