Very much looking forward to this release! I kinda put the brakes on a project until this comes out. May end up redoing some stuff with this superior product. Do we know if the band mate function can shadow note for note, like EZBass? Or just best approximations?

Time for a Toontrack composition tool joining all EZ products: EZ Keys, EZ Bass, EZ Drums, EZ Mix - and perhaps soon EZ Gguitar. It would be great setting a key, a chord progression and a style - gobally - and starting from there, including perhaps audio tracks for good measure. No need to be a super complete DAW, only for starting projects. Then one could export the project to their respective interconnected plugin versions and use it to continue working on any DAW. Alternativelly, you could only implement inter plugin communication and do the same inside a DAW - much easier maybe.

This could work like Captain Chords very easy and much better. It could create bass lines and melodies from the chords for export. I know you can do it within the plugin now but the bassline would just be the lower notes of the chord and not played in the style of a professional bass player. And don't everyone jump all over me for requesting this. We are using a Vst that plays piano for us because we can't, so why not have it generate a bassline and melody like Orb producer.

What is EKX? Is this different than the regular EZKeys products? What is that different - if yes?

Hi Kenneth, we have changed the names of the previously released EZkeys instruments from for example EZkeys Classic Electrics to Classic Electrics EKX. In the future, when we release new EKXs, they will include MIDI. The old EKXs do not include any MIDI.

Realistic sound, but where High HZs? Sound as mp3 128kbps quality. I heared real Pianos, real all have high Hz. I understand that there are soft pianos, but sonorous pianos are better. If you like a dull sound, then please make a free Soprano Saxophone plugin like here (too soft) "Виа Гра - Не оставляй меня любимый" on 2:21

It's the Filtered House preset, so there is a filter at work there. One of the many presets in EZKeys 2. Was it the right choice for the demo? Maybe. It fitted the style of the music pretty well.

You can use EzKeys2 to trigger Software instruments from 3rd parties quite easily. So you can use your own if you don't like EzKeys 2 sound library! Note: The MIDI Out feature for EZKeys 2 can only be enabled within a VST plugin inside a DAW. The standalone software has that feature disabled for some reason.
