I agree on Snake man's stage, the vibes are immaculate. Considering Snake man is an exploration robot, I've always considered his stage not just to be made up or robot snakes. I like to think it's a big mysterious temple the Snake robots have completely taken over! Perhaps even the temple where Shadow man, and later the Stardroids were found

X1: Most of the Maverick stages are really fun so picking out a stage was hard. Armoured Armadillo's stage flows together really well, but Boomer Kuwanger's stage is even better, somehow. The Sigma stages are kind of unremarkable, so I think I can go ahead and but Boomer Kuwanger's stage as my favourite. X2: Magna Centipede's stage is also pretty nice, the setpieces all work pretty well without being overly demanding However, it is held back by the devs shamelessly repeating it. Crystal Snail has the best ride armour use in the series, but some level choices are a little mid. Wheel Gator's stage is pretty fun. Progression is challenging without throwing bullshit at you. The enemies are placed well to be hard without cheapshotting you, and the sage obstacles are fair to navigate. The stage also turns to night if you spend too long trying to get the Arm Parts or something, which is actually pretty cool. X3: Blizzard Buffalo's stage is fun, but it is really easy. Toxic Seahorse's stage is a really good water level and vertical level, but I think Crush Crawfish holds the overall best quality. The setpieces work and they encourage good use of special weapons. Going from the shipyard into Crawfish's submarine is also really cool, which puts it ahead as the best stage in X3. X4: I'm tempted to go with Magma Dragoon, but in my head I know that's just because I love fighting Magma Dragoon. Honestly, X4 is really easy for the most part, and I don't have much trouble with it. Some people hate Jet Stingray's stage, but I only die when I'm trying to get the sub tank. Frost Walrus' stage is neat, but it's even easier than the rest of this game. Same goes for Storm Owl. I think I'll have to go with Final Weapon 1. It's the only genuinely challenging level in the game X5: Laser Institute goes without the bullshit the rest of the game likes to throw at you and I think its aesthetic is cool, but the spiral staircase section has goofy perspective and the level is a bit too easy. Runaway Truck is fun but the minibosses can be tedious to take out. Zero Space 2 is even easier than Laser Institute. Repli-airforce is tougher but not as unforgiving as say, Volt Kracken. Destroying the bombs is fun, and the rest of the level features some good challenges. X6: Honestly, a lot of X6's levels are okay, it's just that the damn Nightmare Effect ruins the good ones. I guess I have to go with Shield Sheldon for being the least bullshit, my only gripes are stage length (or, rather, lack thereof) and the way you can get stuck going to the alternate path, which sucks if that means you need to fight High Max without good weapons. I just, can someone please make a hack of X6 that removes the Nightmare System, sets the amount of parts you equip to max, makes Nightmare Viruses stop going through walls, ties part progression to your rank, and makes shit like the required air dashes and the leap of faith in Amazon Area not a thing? Please? X7: This game's level design is almost all bad because of the 3D. I guess Splash Warfly's stage is alright. It's a cool setpiece and the level design is fine, there's no offensive 3D jank. It would never make the cut in any other game, but I think we can all agree that X7 ranks close to the bottom of the X series. X8: X8 is a bit of a mixed bag for me when it comes to stage design. The game has definitely grown on me, but I still find a lot to dislike about some of these stages. However, that cannot be said of Pitch Black. This stage is really fun with and without the lights on, and failure isn't punished to an extreme degree like the other stages tend to be prone to.

I love MM&B but those castle stages were some bullshit. King Stage 2 is probably one of the hardest MM experiences I've ever had aside from 8's "JUMP JUMP SLIDE SLIDE" nonsense. I will concede fighting the two machine bosses separately and then again when they combine into King's giant mecha is pretty badass. But good god is it hard to even get to that point. Especially since it's all one stage and if you lose then you have to start over from the beginning. Did I mention it was hard?

Only stating where I disagree MM1-Fire Man is the best stage by far imo, wily 1 is a great choice though MM4-Wily 1 is excellent MM5--Gravity is the best by far like it's not close, but you got #2 right. MM6-You talked yourself out of the correct answer, Yamato having 2 paths and two completely different enemies you can only fight in that different path PLUS a 2nd hidden path towards the boss makes it the best. Your reasoning behind mm8 is why Yamato is the best. MM7 sucks, best stage is the last one because it means it's over. MM9 Wily 2 is arguably the best stage in any mega man game. mm9 is the hardest game to pick the best stage behind mm3. MM10 I was gonna say Wily 2...but you sold me. BEST PLATFORM VIDEO PLOX.

MM1: Honestly? Wily 1. It feels like one of the better Castle Intros in the series, even though at this point, it was supposed to be a factory. MM2: I have to pick your LEAST favorite, Wily 4. It pulls out all stops and truly feels like a climax level, I understand why people find it annoying, but I actually like what most people dislike I guess, at least in this level. MM3: Wily 1, one of the few Castle intros that DOESN'T have an annoying SkillGate design to it, and has appropriate music for the feel of the moment, just coming off the Doc Robot Stages. MM4: Cossack 3, awsome music, and pulls off the auto-scroll thing well. MM5: Going to agree with you completely here, nothing to add, well said. MM6: Honestly? ALL of them, except Mr.X 1, I feel this game's enjoyment is pretty even throughout. MM7: Wily 1, ALSO a Skill Gate stage, but this time in a flattering way, I think they pulled it off VERY well this time. MM8: Wily 3, cool theme, cool level, loved the Bass fight, just good all around. MM&B: Wily 3, pulls out all stops, but in an even better way than MM2's Wily 4. It's a final level that's made to test you, and it shows. MM9: I have a hard time picking any, so I'm just going to say Tornado Man since he has the trailer music. MM10: Wily 2, Awsome theme, nice length, could have used the Block Devil from the next level to cap it off, but we're not factoring bosses, so..... MM11: Acid Man, I liked the unconventional take on the Water Level, I also like how the "water" sections weren't the whole stage, I think this was really well thought out.

I have been playing Mega Man from the beginning, although never beat Mega Man 11. On the plus side I did beat MM 3 without loosing a life and had 24 lives ar the very end when I went to face Dr. Wily. I am you sure you will have a worst designed level video in the future.
