Hey everyone, since it's Mega May ( #MegaMay ) I thought it would be a good idea to make some mega man videos since you know, that's what I tend to do. And since a common complaint about mega man is the game being hard I decided to make a video talking about the hardest mega man levels from each mega man game in depth so hopefully you guys enjoy

The Doc Robot's Japanese name, "dokurobotto", is actually the combination of two words: "dokuro", (which means "skull") and "robotto" (which means "robot"). The name basically translates to "skull robot", which coincides with the motif of Dr. Wily building skull-based contraptions and robots; however, the joke was lost in translation and resulted in the name "Doc Robot". In the Archies comics, the Doc in Doc Robot stands for Diverse Operations Circuit. In Captain N: The Game Master, the Doc in Doc robot is short for Doctor.

Bought an original NES the other week, in large part to relive all the Mega Man's. Just finished Mega Man 1 today, and yes the last part is the most difficult. Mostly because Fire Man is so specific on the timing and if you fail by one millisecond he start spamming fire all over the screen. And if (when) he does, your life drops to at most half, so you need to kill all other bosses with that amount and then hope to have enough continues on the last Wily boss to win

The falling crystals in Crystal Man's stage always messed me up. I never saw a pattern. But I wholeheartedly agree about Plant Man's stage.

I've never been able to figure out a pattern on those! Used to really mess us up as kids when we'd go through that level. Came back to it a few years ago thinking, "I'm an adult now, and I can figure this out." Nope, just as random and hard. Kinda just have to go when you have a good gut feeling it's going to pause a little longer. And that only works about half the time.

"I cannot defeat Airman" is supposed to be a song about the struggles of someone very new to the game having trouble with one of the easier stages, hearing about a tool that can make that stage easier in another level (Heat Man) only to find _that_ stage is actually harder in itself. It's a really cool song, but was never meant as an unironic complaint about Air Man or his stage being too difficult.

I agree that Plant Man’s stage is really frustrating, but another one I think is hard is Star Man’s stage. The reduced gravity makes certain parts of it very difficult, especially the parts with the spikes. I’ve made it all the through a couple times, at least, but I’ve also died because of those stupid spikes a lot too.

I always hate going through Crystal man's stage, with the dropping crystals that knock you into the pit. I hate waiting for just the right moment. Also, I thought Megaman 11 was really hard at first and then after a few hours of playing, I remembered that you can slow down time. I completely forgot about that game mechanic. It was much easier when I used it.

X1: Sigma 1. I can handle Vile and Bosspider, but I can't handle the moving platforms section X2: X-hunter stage 3's vertical platform section can bite me. X3: Doppler stage A can be tedious but it's not nearly as bad as Sigma 1 or X-Hunter 3 X4: This game is really easy, the only stage that ever gives me any trouble is Final Weapon 1 or I guess Final Weapon 2 if I'm playing as Zero. X5: Virus Stage 1 re-uses Quick Man's gimmicks in the worst way and then you have to fight Shadow Devil, whose pattern can be hard to deal with due to the semi-randomness of it. Honourable mention to Stage 4 for the Sigma fight alone. X6: Gate stage 2, stage 1 is also a pretty large contender, but Gate 2 is 2 Gate stages in one so it wins by default. X7: Crowrang's stage for the shitty 3D platforming. None of the other stages are really difficult, just annoying. X8: Burn Rooster's stage made me genuinely quit playing before I even got halfway to him. I have never fully beaten Mega Man X8 and it's entirely this stage's fault.

I like how in Rockman and Forte, err...Megaman and Bass, when you pick Bass, it shows that you can shoot in multiple directions, double jump, and dash. For Megaman, it shows that you can charge shot, slide, and uhh...you're Megaman. Yeah, that fight as Megaman is a whole lot of "I guess I'll just die 🤷‍♂".

Highly disagree. I’ve never seen so much bs in a game. The enemy placements, the robot masters, one THAT CAN HEAL ITSELF, and just the overall level design is made to screw you over. I had no fun playing the game.

1. Don't you need Guts Man's "Super Arm" to get the Magnet Beam? Also I'd probably say Ice Man's was probably the most annoying due to Magnet Beam somehow emptying and making me fall. Plus those platform thingies. 2. Boobeam Trap was a bitch. And those Sniper Joes before aren't really good in terms of farming. 3. Spark Man Doc Robot's stage is a bitch. Metal Man has a spike pitfall area which in the NES version ... is BEFORE the checkpoint, and Quick Man with a huge hitbox is a pain. 4. Dust Man's stage has those little flying things too. And an instant kill area if you're not careful. 5. Wave Man's second segment is annoying due to the fact you can't pause at all. 6. Plant Man's stage gives you the Rush Flying Armor upon beating it. The stage that could've benefitted from it the most. 8. Wily Stage 1 is a worse version. 9. Wily Stage 3 can outright drag you to your doom. 11. Wily Stage 1 did everything in its power to test your Speed Gear.

@@tooterp No, its fine, in my opinion that's the only shit part of it. Once you get down to a science, it's simple. Sure, its HELLISH on your first run through, but if you just focus on the enemies every so often, you'll find yourself breezing through the stage easily.

For me I'd have to say: 1- Yellow Devil 2- Purple Hell 3- None 4- Wily 1 5- Proto 5 6- Plant Man 7- Final Wily stage 8- Wily 2 (Slide Slide Jump Jump) MMxBass- Wily stages 9- the whole game (only beat splash woman) 10 - none 11 - the parts of the game where you are running from a brush fire. I have vibration damage in my hands so I don't have the timing anymore with the Yellow Devil. I spent an hour in MMX trying to get the buster upgrade. Coming back to the Megaman games after 5 years and vibration damage in my hands is really disheartening.

I ended up as a kid renting what would turn out to be a BETA MegaMan 3 that had a Doc stage for Magnet Man instead of Gemini Man and... YEEEEEOOOOOOHHHHHH that level was a BEEEEETCH!! Imagine the entire first part with NO GROUND WHATSOEVER... and then the Yokublocks section with NO FLOOR, MORE MAGNETS, some spikes... and even a ladder jump that required USING the magnet force to reach ON PURPOSE Also, did I mention more spikes?
