Can you design a crossbow/slingshot that is increasing it's load Ina binary way. Like you pull back one soft rubber, at the end of the pull you add a second soft rubber from the opposite side. Now the first rubber helps you to pull that one back to the first side where you ad third rubber but the second rubber is helping you to pull back two rubbers to the other end where the fourth rubber is waiting. And so on and on untill you can draw weights you wouldn't normally be able to do pull.

I think that a lot of makers nowadays use no music at all in their videos, which seems to work better in my opinion. It can feel very empty though if you don't have sound for all your clips! Anyway great job!

I wonder if the spring would be stronger if printed as a singular thick extrude per leg, or if layering them at smaller extrusions to make the same thickness, is better? 🤔 I'm actually not too sure, sigular extrudes would make a solid squished pipe type formation, while multiple lines would be more like a lattice and often have gaps. I think the reason some of your legs deform is that lattice has issues where it tried to join adjacent walls irregularly, hence the idea of printing that area as one heavy and slower extrude.

@itsonmm7 ай бұрын
Great question, somewhere, there is a formula that outputs the curve function of the beam. But it gives only the minimum curve needed to keep the beam buckled without snapping back. in the crossbow case, I wanted it to be powerful so I "manually" adjust the curve... I printed many revisions
