Great meeting you even though it was briefly. Sorry to hear the weekend didn't go so well for you. Sadly I missed the Friday night meet-up because I arrived late into Blackpool and thought all would probably have left. I stayed at a really cool AirBnB called the Cavendish Cats and Gaming House. The traders were a bit off a let down think I only bought 4 games. Michael Jordan: Chaos in the Windy City and Darius Twin on the Smes, Pooyan in the C64 and Food Fight on the Atari 7800. Speedy recovery in the health side and all goes well.

One of the best weekends I've had. Loved it and so did my daughter. Room was decent enough for the Norbreak, great night at Arcade Club, day in the pleasure beach and the Friday night drinks, Curry night after Saturdays event. Awesome. Sounds like the luck devil struck you Stu, that's shitty. Came away from Blackpool this year with big smiles and feeling tired but great. At least we had a brief chat, I lost you after that.

Mate Iv got the same thing you have, I was talking to Ed and Alex about it on way up to Blackpool. I have a referel for a scope both ends absolutely dreading it. I haven’t had a fizzy drink in over a month because of it and beer makes it worse , Iv cut down but not removed beer . My stomach hasn’t been right for ages .

Ah yeah ive had the endo and colonoscopy, endo twice (with both i just close my eyes, try to relax and just breath let them get on with what theyve got to do) ive had SIBO (had meds to shift that but its coming back) yeah GERD isnt nice at all as you know can really ruin you for days if its out of hand, i hope you get some answers if you need any advice message me, ive been suffering for 15 years so i know a few things lol

Some decent guides there. I do prefer a proper guide to a digital one. However well a digital version is indexed it always seems easier to flick through a physical guide. I used to wake up most nights for years with acid reflux. Turned out I had sleep apnea, and once I got a CPAP machine, the reflux disappeared overnight. Stuck with wearing the stupid mask forever though!

Sounds like you had a rough weekend mate, when GERD flares up it really hits you for six, especially the lack of sleep. But at least the event itself sounds like it was fantastic ! I keep saying it but eventually I will turn up to one 😂 Motoroader 2 is much better mate, the first one is a bit marmite, some people like it (maybe those that have nostalgia for it) others hate it. Psychic storm is a real belter ! very underrated shooter on the PCE, you will definitely enjoy it mate!

That Friday night was outstanding toots buddy, thats right up there for me with great nights out ive had 😄🍺 everyone was saying on the Saturday wheres toots to, you was like the scarlet pimpinel 😂 really sorry to hear about the op bud, i suffer from acid reflux and its a nightmare, ive lost count of how many times ive woke up with acid in my throat. I made sure 2 weeks before Blackpool i was takimg omeprazole everyday day, i doubled up on the Thursday and friday aswel. Not sure of they would of helped you but i always carry omeprazole and rennies with me bud. Fairplay me and mat got lucky with our room it was well decent... prob helped my mrs booked it for us.... they was good with craig staying in his van and coming in for breakfast and to use the bar aswel

Fucking Blackpool :D! I feel your pain man! Last time I went to Play it was a last minute thing as I managed to get out of working, I got stuck with what I think was a hallway with a door on it, proper shit hole, sink was in the cupboard and a shared shitter :D! Health comes first mate, they're only games, you can always buy them again for 10 times what you sold them for... I had that Robot rabbit shmup last time round, weird but fun! Those guides are lovely, I have a bit of a thing for those myself, always grab them when I see them in the wild!

A door on the shower that opens halfway in Blackpool is classed as 4* Tooty 🤣 I go to the darts every year and we have stayed in some absolute dives over the years. Blackpool sounded like a bit of a nightmare as I said Sunday, cash is and always will be king, 7am a good few Fridays ago there was a queue at the Co op, if you remember some IT bloke had pressed the wrong key and everything went down, I was the only person who could pay lol everybody else had to go to the atm, which would have probably emptied soon after. Always a pleasure to see you, good idea for you to grab the pc engine goodies, incase it's my last one lol I was lucky to have a word with Andy Brown and so there will be a nice run of markets next year for me, I aim to be done by June and after that what's left I'll just job out, so nearly done. Sounds like you're describing Tooty s UK tour 😂 That Blackpool hotel experience sounds terrible, You had to stay in a right p00p hole, Maybe you picked Something up from sleeping there, At least you had a good night the first night, Too many places are cashless these days does my head in, Especially when their card readers don't work properly half the time, I like going out with cash that way I spend what I have, When I use my card it always ends up being a lot more And there's been a few times I know they've added drinks I haven't Bought because they take advantage of me being drunk, Your absolutely right there's no point to go out for one or 2 Pints 😂 Nice one mate have a good 1 at all those other events

Some of the sellers at Nottingham were actually unbearable, had massive egos and just proper dick heads. This was the worst market for pricing I've seen in a while as well, some sellers I have no clue where they even got their prices from, double eBay comps. Basically no cube either across everyones stalls. Good luck with the surgery hope it all goes well.

Agreed staggered entry is the best thing they have done. 5 deep is too intense. This way the people will pay for the Early bird and other tickets online and are serious. Agreed Nottingham was a success, I did twice as well there than Milton Keyes. See ya at Cardiff my man!
