Irish American veteran with PTSD, golden heart and great sense of humor. His big heart sometimes leades him astray, but he always tries to fix his mistakes. He is also badass fighter. For me he is in TOP 3 characters Dick Wolf ever created. And Jesse Lee Soffer is brilliant in this role.
