when swimming, you can press R to not lose your momentum going back and forth, watch the video closely

Substrafing like @Neosyass said will help a lot for close eggs (it's hard to explain the tech in a comment, there are many tutorials out there though). When the eggs are a bit further away I alternate between launching and swimming to the basket.
