@@Rain_Soaked_Trash I'll try to be brief, but there's no short explanation in Splatoon 😅 The 1st one: If she fails her mission, earth is taken over by a chemical ooze that turns everything into mamalian monsters 2nd: If she can't destory a statue in time, the city is flooded with a similar ooze, but this one turns people into "living" drones, ready to seek and destory 3rd: If she can't beat the enemy's leader, she's hypnotized into being on his side (I don't think this is actually in the games as an ending, though) 4th: This one actually *does* cannonically lose, but is eventually saved. Her mind is hijacked by the same fluid from #2's bad ending.

I just realized. 4 has the tamest fate yet in the bad timelines. Sanitization and furitization is an awful fate, but 4 would just be given the Hypno Shades. And we know from Callie that it’s able to be reversed, or at the very least, contained. 4 definitely has it better then 3, 8, and 3.0

It's weird thiking that all agents are kinda Kids when they start the story mode, and they face really disturbing battles that are bigger than everything, really sad, but at the end we kinda forget the challenges and pain they pass through, its good that someone cares about the other endings in this very cinematographic form.(now nintendo need an anime about splatoon)

It's interesting because we don't get much information regarding fuzzy octolings, unlike sanitized octolings. The idea that some or even all inklings/octolings just straight up become mammals is fascinating. Incredibly impressive, especially your own takes on what happens to to 4 and neo 3, since in game, the fuzzified inklings are just comedic fuzzballs while in splat 2's story mode, agent 4's splat only has Callie yelling in despair. (That art of fuzzified neo 3 is incredible, so much more animalistic and primal than just, HAIR, and a bit of a tan.)

God, I can’t get over how absolutely frightening this is. I find myself often cutting the game short of how truly terrifying the lore can get (especially with the addition of Neo 3). This animation is so simple, yet it just adds to the eerie and disturbing vibe. The silhouettes of each villain is such a great detail. I just realized this, but I love the differences in the Agent’s expressions when confronted with their enemies. Neo seems extremely off-put, probably because she’s never seen anything even close to Grizz before. Eight is terrified. As Tartar reveals its true nature, she realizes that her hell has only just begun. Four is weirded out, an expression that to me reads “What is this guy’s deal?” Octavio is very goofy and eccentric, especially for the head of an entire race and their military. Finally there’s Captain 3, who looks at Tartar in a kind of awe. Just by seeing the true power of the sanitization, her mind is already corrupted. Either that, or she is simply bewildered by the spectacle before her. (Sry if I got any pronouns wrong, I headcanon them all as female)

Whats interesting is if all of the bad endings had occurred, the octolings and inklings wouldve likely gone to war again after the disappearance of rhe great zap fish and callie, and while they fought, tartar wouldve enacted his plan to sanitize everyone. Grizz would be deep underground and likely unaffected by tartars plan, but would probably still try to use his fuzzy ooze on the sanitized ink. There could have been a war waged between the last relics of humanity, beasts and machines, with inklings and octarians caught in the middle as unwilling soldiers

Depends cause there wasn't really any bad endings for splatoon one it was either beat octavio or not If you fail you retry cause the world isn't at stake and you only do it for a granpa and electricity But i am guessing that If captain failed and were to die then only 8 and neo 3 would be impacted since captain is never seen with 4 during the story mode Marie is the reason why we are there

@@Bokko6224yeah but with the great zapfish gone then another war may have broken out and the calamari inkantation would’ve never reached Marina’s ears not starting Off the Hook who then helped Agent 8 not to mention Agent 4 wouldn’t have been there or needed since Callie was never hypnotized but again Agent 8 would probably still be a true octarian after not hearing the inkantation then the final fest between chaos and order wouldn’t have happened not starting splatoon 3. so tar tar probably would have sanitized everything and then grizz would still be able to furitize everyone on top of sanitization

Then, she became an animalistic monster with no memories of who she was. 8 was a kind octoling, trying to get by in a world she didnt remember. Then she was sanitized and went under the control of an evil commander. 4 was a gratful inkling, young, innocent and carefree. Then she met a corrupt leader, and forced to fight the ones she loved. Captain 3 was a retired agent, one who had seen it all before. Then she was ambushed, by an unknown enemy. And made to kill her troops. Remember this, always keep an eye out adventurer, nobody know what might be waiting behind the next corner... BOO!

She has pierceing sharp claws, those... eyes and, hypotetically speaking, she is now fully made of bones, muscles' fibers, blood... Correct? [EDIT: Now that I watch it on loop, I see how she reminds me of a mad monkey. I'm in love with her transition. There's something weird about us humans - we love twists, her mind's been twisted from fighting the ooze to let it possess her. She seems to be reborn under the dominion of her new powers. Also, check out how her tentacles have become hair. It's all over her. Kinda more humanoid than her natural inky look, even though this is uncorrect and we know it since in the game, whenever we touch the substance we turn into a fur ball.]

@@FA3WILDES You play as an octoling (female in canon storyline, but you can be male if you want), waking up outside of some kind of lab containment chamber, infront of you is (now former) Captain Cuttlefish, you two explore around your location to find you are in a train station, during your exploration, you meet a robot that will claim to take you to 'the promised land' after you find 'the four thangs' as per say the robot, the robot names the octoling 'Experiment 10,008', Cuttlefish doesn't like that name though so he shortens it to just 'Eight' (which is what I'll call her for the rest of this reply to avoid confusion), Eight is given a weapon and is told to get on the train that resides to their side, on said train is the conductor (a sea cucumber cleverly names 'C.Q. Cumber') and a walkie-talkie, the walkie-talkie tu4ns on as Cuttlefish and Eight sit on the train, Pearl and Marina on the other side. After Cuttlefish and Pearl rap it out, Pearl and Marina agree to help Cuttlefish and #ight with their mission, now this is where the game ACTUALLY begins. The train arrives at its destination where Eight will go around five different stations and collect what are called 'Mem-Cakes', Mem-Cakes are the physical form of Eights memories, alongside the Mem-Cakes you collect the four 'thangs' and make your way back to the robot at the original station, the robot takes the items and connects them to itself, Eight and Cuttlefish are asked to go inside the machine, but when they did, and the door closed, Marina asks the fatal question: "Doesn't that kinda look like a blender?" Turns out, it is a blender, Marina attempts to hack into the machines mainframe but to no avail, all hope is lost and Cuttlefish and Eight have few seconds left to live until (now Captain) Agent Three bursts throught the roof and breaks the machine, Three is knocked out cold and Eight is suggested to go through the hole in the ceiling which Three made. After doing so, Eight winds up in 5 different stages, all with their own unique twist (basically all of which I forgot), in one of said stages, Eight sees the sanitisation process (the villains in the DLC are sanitised octolings, so brainwashed octolings), which to an octoling or an inkling would be very traumatic, Eight escapes all the stages and is sent to an elevator which After a period of time stops and then she finds a tied up Cuttlefish and a partly-sanitised Three, Eight fights Three, Eight wins, elevator continues and Eight is sent to the REAL promised land: Inkopolis. Cuttlefish shows up, Pearl and Marina show up, they all have a nice moment, only to be ruined by the robot from earlier, who turns out to be a robot created by the humanity that used to inhabit Earth, giant statue rises up from water and begins solar charging a deadly beam which will destroy the world, Marina hatches a plan to ink the robot so it'll stop charging, what's happen is: Marina fires what are called 'Hyper-bombs' on to certain parts of the statue after certain amounts of time, Eight has to ink these bomb so that they explode, when they explode they create a big splatter of ink, Eight and Marina have to repeat with until the whole surface of the statue is covered. Eight and Marina proceed with the plan, the plan presumes to work, but Marina finds that the statue is going to fire anyway because it has atleast enough energy to destroy Inkopolis, Pearl steps in and uses her powerful voice combined with her powerful Killer Whale (Pearl's big megaphone) to create a beam that destroys the statue along with the robot. Everyone who was sanitised in now un-sanitised, Inkopolis is saved, octolings are allowed in Inkopolis, everybody is happy, THE END. Sorry that this is so long but there ya go :]
