George’s fingernail caught David’s eye and dislodged something. David was admitted to Farnborough Hospital, where it was found that the sphincter muscles of his left eye were badly torn and he underwent two eye operations. He has an enlarged pupil that remains permanently open, giving them an unusual appearance. Contrary to popular belief David doesn’t have two different coloured eyes - they are both the same colour. The enlarged pupil only gives the “effect” of two different coloured eyes.

Even Marilyn Monroe's mole was somehow highlighted, it must have been there, and I don't believe it was added simply on purpose. I don't believe that an actor should be "blameless" so as to be on the list. To be fair, Marilyn Monroe WAS an actress, and she did prove her acting ability. Leonard Martin did justice to her in recognizing BUS STOP as one of the films that proves that she indeed could act. I myself am equally impressed by her final performance in THE MISFITS.

There is another explanation called "Alexandria's syndrom" In which women have violet/purple eyes, take longer to age, have pale skin, none or almost no body hair and some other especial festures. Remember Liz had two lashlines on each of her eyes, leading to a time where she was asked to pull off her fake lashes when she was quite young. She answered "it's not makeup, it's me". Althought it can also come from lack of pigment (Albinysm), which it shows your blood vases from behind the iris, leading to a violet/pink/reddish shade.

+Robert Fennis It kinda depends on which type really. I don't think most people notice mine unless they're paying attention. I have iridis, not iridum. My eyes are blue on the outside and green around the pupil (which makes them blue, by definition). Depending on the size of my pupil, they look more or less green (naturally), which people don't notice. I had a guy from the Army talk to me when I was in high school who listed me as having blond hair and green eyes. Later, my Navy recruiter listed me as having brown hair and blue eyes. LOL

99brickstudios Scars are the most prominent because they are the least natural. I know more people with gaped teeth than I do with "normal teeth" same goes for eyes, cleft chins and facial shape. That being said, Sly's lip is probably the rarest, and least fun to have. I will admit that I was bummed that David Bowie was on the list with his permanent eye dilation. But he is more musician than actor, but great at both.

Benedict Cumberbatch's eyes. They're beautiful and rare. They're specific colors which cause them to look either really green or really blue depending on the lighting. It's some sort of partial coloring along the lines of the first girl's eyes but in both eyes, when one part of the eye is a different color than the majority of the eye, I believe.

i like how most of the "imperfections" on this list belong to men. and that if a women had a lazy eye, a paralyzed mouth or a crooked nose, she would certainly have a much harder time finding work in Hollywood. most women are held to a crazy perfect standard of beauty whereas guys can have little quirks and uniqueness to their face and still be "hot".

Frances Conroy has a glass eye and still get's work, Tina Fey's scar is actually bigger than I expected, but I think make up hides it very well ... look it up. These are the very few exceptions, but for the most part I think you are right.
