DBZ is nostalgically good, but I wouldn't say it's for everyone, or that it aged well, and certainly not claim it as perfect. Personally if someone wants a longer anime series with super powers and martial arts, I'd recommend original Dragon Ball before Z, and something like Yu Yu Hakusho long before DBZ.

Justin Gochioco I think that XYZ is the perfect intro to Pokemon. Just from the start you can tell Ash and Pikachu have a strong bond and have been through a lot. It has the best fight scenes in the entire series, actual enjoyable filler, a relationship that actually does go somewhere, a sense of adventure, GODLY music, jaw-dropping animation, lovable characters, and superb voice acting. Both Japanese and English. Plus they don't have much callbacks to the original show, so newcomers won't be confused.

One piece and naruto, while being awesome, tend to have a rather slow start (in my opinion) and I found Naruto especially off putting with young Naruto being rather annoying near the beginning (yeah, believe it!) and the huge amounts of filler. As for DBZ: I have found people to be rather torn on it, either loving it, hating it or not getting what the point of it all is. I think all three series are not ideal to start with when you are new to anime, but with that being said: I expected Death Note to be on this list! :P

Studio gibli movies are untouchable, no one can beat them. I totally agree that howls moving castle should of been on the list, but spirited away had enough praise as it is. It is a wonderful story, but has taken away the rightful fame of many other studio gibli movies that are just as good, if not better. I believe the film 'when marine was there' has been completely overlooked, same with Kikis delivery service and grave of the fires flys. Spirited away was amazing and I still love it, but it shouldn't be as popular as some of its counterparts.

I loved the show but stopped watching it after I realized it was terrible. I loved the first four arc (up to the Yorknew City arc) but everything thereafter is shit. Also it's long af. I can list tons of animes that are much better than HxH. In the end, it's just another shounen anime trying too hard to encompass too many genres. The plot was everywhere and didn't focus enough on a central idea. Also it taught bad lessons, like forgiving your cowardly parent for abandoning you (because fuck Ging cause he's an asshole and Gon is too innocent to realize what an asshole he is).

But of course, some people take advantage of their quirks and use them for bad. A young boy named Izuku Midoriya aspires to be just like the no. 1 hero, All Might. But the thing is, he wasn’t born blessed with any type of talent... Will he still be able to rise to the top? This show is just, wow. Really an emotional rollercoaster. You get so invested in everybody’s story and it’s truly incredibly. The animation is flawless, each character has weaknesses and downsides, but it’s really a powerful anime. There are a lot of arcs in this story, if that’s what you like too. Each character gets their on little time to shine as well. It was truly a whole new experience watching My Hero. I don’t have much more to say, except, I didn’t regret watching a single moment of it. Haikyu!! - Now, at first glance, this anime might not seem all that good. I mean, it is all about volleyball... I was kind of skeptical of it when I first started, but to this day, it is my second favorite anime! If you’re looking for a show that really keeps you on the edge of your seat, this is the perfect one for you. Attack on Titan - This is an extremely popular one. I have no words, to be honest. I know it's not a very popular opinion but Attack on Titan ("shingeki no kyojin") has truly affected me and my life in ways I never expected. Dany Eichouh the last 3 episodes to parasyte made it a bad anime. It was bullshit how the "toxins" from the metal rod made Migi able to magically warp back to shinichi. It was bullshit how they finished that fight against the guy. It should have been more epic. Also it was just plain dumb how they ended the last episode with that annoying girl.

+omarislearning An anime is more than just writting. And even that is getting boring. Its getting pretty repetitive. The The comedy on one piece is not that funny ( most shonen have that same comedy) and they frequently mix the fights with comedy and doesnt work that well to me. Best thing in one piece was always the story complexity and the misterys and the wide universe Oda created (the fights were never really that good). But now they are "naruto-ing" that shit. One piece is not even half of what it used to be and you saying its perfect is kinda ridiculous. Dragon ball Super is hated and even that (since after the Frieza arc) has been much better
