Santa's Slay is honestly one of my favorite concepts of an anti-Christmas movie. For those who don't know, it's about Santa, except Santa is actually a psychopath, but he lost a bet one day and was forced to basically travel around the world spreading presents and cheer than murder and mayhem and he had to do it for 1000 years or something. So when the 1000 years were up, he decides to just unleash all his pent-up aggression on everyone. The best part is that Santa is played by Bill Goldberg, which was a plus for me as a pro-wrestling fan

I think Silent Night, Deadly Night should be in the list from the aftermath of Billy’s parents got murdered by a Killer Santa and years later, he works at the toys store became a new Killer Santa. Despise it’s controversial and banned for theaters until the cult following to us slasher fans enjoying it a lot. Great list, mojo.

Another overlooked honorable mentions would be (1996) A long kiss goodnight. Geena Davis and Samuel l Jackson star in this female lead driven roll similar to the Bourne franchise (2002) yet predating it, is set during Christmas. A Holliday action classic 100%

Raising my kids, we started a family tradition of watching The Nightmare Before Christmas at least once a week between Halloween and Christmas, then the DVD was put away, banished until next year. When they got older, we'd watch Die Hard for Christmas.

The Best Anti Christmas Movie is SHOWGIRLS!!! (For anyone thinking it doesn’t fall during Christmas need to rewatch it & pay attention to the background. It starts on Halloween [you see/hear Trick or Treating in the background besides seeing decorations], then it fast forwards Six Weeks. Which puts it smack dab in the Christmas Season. [Which you again notice in the background with the decorations]).

Funny thing about Trading Places, is that here in Italy you can't say Christmas, without mentioning this movie. Traditionally, EVERY SINGLE Christmas Eve this movie is aired on national tv. Die Hard 2, Lethal weapon, 2 other Christmas movies. They have decorations, wishes, songs, THROUGH OUT, THAT'S WHAT MAKES A CHRISTMAS MOVIE ( OR ANY HOLIDAY WITH THEMES) that TYPE OF FILM, regardless of genre. Also, Rocky IV is brought up, now, that film either takes place through out a year and ends on christmas ( not a christmas movie) if there's 1 moment at christmas in a film ( Harry Potter, Rob Zombie's HALLOWEEN, Ghostbusters 2) they're NOT Christmas movies. Rambo also (there is a scene with a Christmas tree in the office) but if that's the ONLY moment, and the film happens over a year, not a christmas movie, but, if it happens christmas week, or on xmas eve, xmas day to night, CHRISTMAS MOVIE. Silent night, deadly night, Christmas movie. As for DIE HARD, there is no debate, it's just ignorance vs good knowledge. The film ( die hard) takes place AT A CHRISTMAS PARTY, ON CHRISTMAS EVE, CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS, SONGS, WISHES, definitive XMAS film. yea, not a family film, but still a Christmas film, action happens on that holiday, and people at shopping malls get violent.
