Huge thanks for recommending the Speaker‘s Corner edition of „Transformer“. It just arrived today - and wow: It sounds SO INCREDIBLY GOOD! I had high expectations but it‘s even better. Always an amazing experience when you listen to songs that you have heard hundreds of times before for the first time on a really great vinyl edition and your jaw drops because you discover a whole new world!

Wonderful selection! Especially, Spiritchaser is a stunning album, in my opinion. Transformer also. The Taj Mahal record was new to me. What a great recommendation. Thanks!

That Speakers Corner edition of Transformer is amazing. Dead Can Dance do a few great sounding LPs, Into the Labyrinth, The Serpents Egg are very good.

This was a great video thank you for sharing your collection. Out of these I only have Transformer but I just ordered Bolero. I have liked that song from the first time I heard it back in 1979 in the movie 10 that scene really leaves an impression on a teenage boy.

Take five is a song I found on a compilation CD and a few year ago I found the full album on CD. Love the Beach Boys. Their Harmonies were the best.Thumbs up. Trish

Thanks Michael, Just ordered the Taj Mahal record. On the same page with you that life is way too short to listen to bad recordings when there are so many good ones. Looking forward to the video on your system.

Interesting that you chose a number of live recordings. I too like live recordings very much. I have all your list apart from the Bruckner. We share very similar tastes so will check that one out. Keep doing the videos 😊

Simply amazing channel you’ve here Michael........., as I’ve rather severe bouts of Gout since March 2010, which forced me from spinning records, over to computer audio, where I always pursued Japanese | German | Canadian pressings in that order, as a shed a tear in memories of what was, I thank thee.

Nice list. I just got The Well on Vinyl stil sealed, The innersleeves were the pink plastic ones. They leave a oily residu on the vinyl. I hope they wil clean up.

LOVELY selections here and thanks for not going the expected route. Hard to argue w/ the Beach Boys or the Buddy Holly. Both are cornerstones. Most of the records of Munch w/ the Boston Symphony Orchestra are just top-notch. Here is a nice video of the Bruckner box from the VC member I mentioned to you the other day (Poetry on Plastic) kzbin.info/www/bejne/jp3Nn3ygr8iEnNE. Thanks for the heads up on the Taj Mahal - I'm not familiar w/ that release. Thanks, Michael. Prosit and happy weekend.

I just bought the 'Lou Reed' remix of transformer and love the pressing, good quite vinyl, everything sounds clear and the dynamics on the backing vocals of WalkOTWSide are knock out, woundering now how it compares to the speakers corner pressing?

Just found your channel and am very impressed with all you've done! I'd love to see you bring up some of the analog records from other labels, like Rhino. Especially in the instances (but not only) where there's also an MFSL release and how they compare. Like the Dylan mono box albums vs MFSL, Grateful Dead Rhino vs MFSL, Forever changes Rhino vs MFSL. Also, I'm curious your opinion on the Abbey Road Half-Speed Master releases and if any are worth owning.
