The thing about the "you cheated" level is that once you get sent there (and haven't before) you can literally just ask for a second chance and you'll be sent back to where you were. However, if you get sent there a second time, you'll have to do the dumb quarter thing, and if you go back AGAIN, you literally can't do anything because the quarter won't be there. (at least from what I know)

My theory for the “terror dreams”level is it symbolizes it only the back rooms but could potentially symbolize childhood trauma such as bullying,abuse,neglect ext.If the entities are trying to drive you crazy they would put you where you’ve been traumatized most.Also awesome vid broogli you did amazing and might I say that character design is awesome!

Does anyone else feel like Kane pixels made the superior version of the backrooms? I know he wasn’t the first, but it is well done; It’s full of mood, intrigue and the right amount of mystery and horror, showing us only one type of entity but keeping the lore vague and putting more time into what it would look like if a corporation encountered it (and then sought to capitalize on it by turning it into a storage and commerce space). Initially I got into the expanded lore before seeing his series but now that I’ve watched it, I can’t get over how ridiculously silly and lacking in quality control most of the expended lore is. It just feels like people stuffing this unique idea with creepy pasta level after level to the point where it loses all impact and ability to scare.

I don't know if this has been mentioned at all but Level Terror Dreams reminds me a lot of Bernhard's Door; a topic I learned about from KZbinr, The Librarian. He speaks of this phenomena in which, when someone falls into a deep sleep, they find themselves in their childhood home or someplace familiar to them, except when they explore, they find themselves drawn to a specific spot in this location. Once there, they find a door they remember never being there and have an urge to open it, curiosity playing their hand. It's an interesting listen, and I'd urge anyone on to find it themselves, if they like that sort of thing.

New backrooms level Idea! On level 511 (or the “Clockwork Factory”), is a 1940’s styled factory with rundown machines and cobwebbed pillars hardly holding the place together. You’ll find yourself aimlessly wondering through wooden doors to different areas. The conveyor belts are working, but if you lay on them they’ll take you straight to the void. Every room has a clock, and it’s thought to display the time in the real world. But on one knows. The way to get here is to noclip in the ceiling on level 2. There is ONE entity on this level, and it’s a large spider that lurks through the walls and is known as the “Raven Keeper.” If it finds you, it’ll put you into an egg sack and slowly eat you until your no more. To escape, find a grandfather clock and set the time on it to 12:59 You’ll teleport to room 598

Dangerous level: level 952 aka 'the glitchedrooms' everytime you step it gets more glitched. On the 1st step you won't notice a difference. The more you explore the higher the voidbeast aka 'voidmaster'. DO NOT ENTER LEVEL. If voidbeast touches you, you pass out and wake up in the void aka 'the pitch black hellhole' The only way out is to get caught by the voidbeast but there is an unconfirmed exit and sends you to level 0. Now you have to start all over...

I'd like to see you cover "Game Over". It would definitely belong in this video, it's ridiculous how screwed you would be if you got sent there! I think that Level “You Cheated” is worse than Level !. Part of it is that the maze is, well, a maze, but you also don’t know exactly where to go. All you know is that you need to find a quarter somewhere, and even then, the maze is enormous, if not infinite, and you could literally run past the quarter without noticing. There are entities chasing you, after all.

My theory personally is that the red rooms is a combination of level ! and level 0. Also the "don't fly too close to the sun" is probably a reference to the story of icarus in greek mythology. 41:00 theory: that thing is just scp 002, so maybe the "unknown" is in universal power and the entities that we call "scp's" are just entities that the unknown sends into the real world, like the skin stealer looks oddly similar to scp 096, and there are weird objects and plants that are in the backrooms and also are scps, it all overlaps in a weird but logical way. edit: the mannequins on level 1,411 have the same behavior as scp 173
