His purpose is to take any opposition and reverse to the stone age. Also due to his ability to control electro-magnetic fields he could destroy the earths magnetic field to remove the protection from solar wind and end all life on the planet.

If by "original actor" you mean the guy who played him in X2 - Alan Cumming HATED the time in makeup for that role and swore never to play him again. It's very unlikely that we will see the same actor playing "older Nightcrawler" (although he did say he'd consider it if the money was good - still salty about that.). The guy who played younger Nightcrawler, Kodi Smit-McPhee, however LOVED the character and is a die-hard fan, so we may see more of him in the future. :) (I really really hope so anyways). So yes, a Nightcrawler solo movie TOTALLY needs to happen. Also means more collectables and other merch to buy! :P

1:10 He teleported back to the plane bc when he falls and teleports, velocity does not change, so the fall speed would have killed them both if he teleport near the ground. The plane was going downwards and also falling, so it allowed nightcrawler and rogue to safetly get catched while moving at a fast speed

Quicksilver is fast, but Nightcrawler is instantaneous! Great list of the original BAMF. The films exaggerate how he can use his tail. It's sturdy and can support his weight and then some, but to toss around another grown man and snap necks... eh, no. His prehensile tail can brandish swords and open doors, flip switches and choke someone, but stabbing a person through their neck/head is ridiculous. In the books, it's a furry appendage. In the recent films, his barbed tail has turned into a dagger! I'm hoping is future appearances in the Marvel films tone down some of these unnecessary additions.

The barbed tail dagger bit I can see. However, there is a old comic page i saw in a facebook group in which Kurt uses his tail to pull up a guard and batman-style knock him out. There is basis for lifting other people and throwing them around.

I dont knw abt the dagger thing tht seems a bit crazy unles he like teleported his tail in there like kitty going throo ppl and maybe going solid. Nit sure abt neck snapping either but it seems plausible and ill explain in nxt part. But the lifting and throwing ppl. If hes able to hold up himself via his tail in various ways. It has to be quite strong, not to mention its very prehensile so being able to lift ppl with it i can understand. Tho id say hed have to wrap the actual middle or end part of his tail anf go all the way around with the spade hanging off or tucked under as picking them up via just the spade piece and not layering ay least once seems like it wouldnt be a goood grip to hold yhem up but could start the process of throwing them As for nexk snapping. Including the reasons above. Id say hed jerk their whole bodies unless he has a grip on their body to countrract the tails force ir he snaps it up and back which it seems like it did so its a backwards snap more then just straight side turn like humans would do. Edit ps: i think they shoulf try to the hands like the tmnt who alsi have 3 fingers as the ones he has in irl things seem veey ...bulky and unweildly?? Id say abnormal but theyre suppose to be abnormal but even for what their suppose to be they look unnatural and ill suited to his body and as if their very seperate or theres something wrong. I think the props they used are just a tad to bulky. Tho the tmnt did have the advantage of cgi. I like the practical effects but if they could do it like tmnt id love to see a mix of practical and cgi like the hulk. Based off actors look and movements and shape but some adjustments to things. Also his feet are also a bit extra bulky. Also the toes should be further apart/spread while standing for better balance and hes suppose to have mire anthro looking feet. Much longer and such. And his knees bend like animal legs ya knw. And it is possible in practical effexts someone made shoes tht make u look like u have hooves irl and u walk like ur in extra tall heels. They could make something like tht and then add in some cgi to turn them into toes and make them bend and work more properly. Id reference the comics and xmen evo. Comics for old refs and xmen evo for good teen kurt refs. Even when xmen evo kurt uses the watch, his second / third fingers anf ring/ pinky fingers stay together as a tiny hint anyone else could just pass off as an odd quirk but in actuality is cuz illusion or not kurt pnly has 3 and tje watch couldnt fake the movement of five fingers. If a cartoon can give thr much consideration i thinj the multi billion dollar company can do the same for irl kurt. Kurts also kinda fuzzy, or in comics smoother looking. I like the swirl pattern and raised ness of it, but it could be a fur pattern instead to kerp tht extra flair and his eyes are way yellower or pale moon like yellow and i javent seen any reference to pupils or very xlear pupil in comics or cartooons. And i think thts a cool effect. But alright done theorizing. Thts just a theory.... MY THEORY lol thanks for reading

There’s still the problem off velocity and a teleport does not take away from fall speed. They’d go splat. My thing if I were a teleported though would be to always teleport upward, creating a flying mechanism.

I love Nightcrawler, and I have for a long time. His casting has been perfect across the board, even if his lines haven't been. That said, there seems to be a continuous issue in the new movies in regards to his eyes. I dotn know if it's a matter of the contacts being uncomfortable, but it's very noticable when they are missing. I'm picky, I know; but I love this teleporting mutant.

Fun fact: its really unknown of night crawler is a mutant or not because while yes his mother was mystiqe a mutant his father on the other hand azazal is actually a pure blood demon. Mystiqe due to her mutant powers was unable to bear children (with one expection but he until she met azazal. After finding out she was pregnant it made her happy to try to have a famiky life however azazal abandoned her. During child birth the people though nightcrawler died due to the blue skin until they looked closer and found him to be a demon in appearance. Mystiqe during labor lost concentration and reverted back to her mutant form confirming the villiage suspicion. As a blood thirsty mob seeked to end her and kurts life she tossed him from a cliff hoping for a merciful death by her hands for him however his teleport power saved him. This is why angels blood hurts nightcrawler as if conflicts withbhos demon side. I remember that comic as it was one of my most favorite comics about nightcrawler and wished they applied it in the movies rather than ignored it. Also fun fact rogue and nightcrawler are sibilings but not blood related as mystique adapted rogue as a mother but also layer exploit her of her powers.

Just wanted to add he ported back to the plane because, at least in the comics he can only port a three mile distance and I'm p sure that plane was higher then three miles. And if he ported several times to reach the ground it could work, but porting takes energy and he does get exhausted.

The fight wolverine engaged in was in a tavern in a small mining town in Canada. Night crawlers fight was in an underground fight club in what looked like an abandoned building in Germany

Night crawler was also caught in a ring of illegal fights specifically pitting mutants against each other. The fighters wolverine fought were humans who didn’t know they were fighting a mutant
